반편견적 다문화 교육 시각에서 중학교 미술교과서 분석

국문 초록

시대적 변화와 더불어 글로벌화된 지구촌은 우리에게도 단일민족이라는 전통과 혈연중심의 민족주의는 이제 한계에 직면하게 되었고, 단일성이라는 오랜 믿음과 정체성은 과거의 유물로 전락하게 되었다. 또한 다양한 인종의 유입은 ‘다름’과 ‘차이’에 대한 이해와 존중의 재사유를 요구하고 있고, 이러한 ‘다름’과 ‘차이’에 대한 소통으로서 우리사회의 담론인 다문화주의 수용이라고 할 수 있다. 따라서 이 논문은 다양한 문화를 이해하기 위한 가장 적절한 교과목이라고 할 수 있는 제7차 중등미술교과의 7종교과서에 나타난 다문화적 요소，작품，시각이미지 살펴봄으로서 현재 다문화 교육의 주소를 가늠할 수 있을 것이다. 다문화 관련 내용이나 도판은 출판사나 학년에 따라 차이가 있지만，관련 도판은 특정지역이나 국가에 국한되어 있다. 즉 양적인 면에서 서양작품이 비서양작품에 비해 많이 소개되어 있으며，서양의 작품들은 미적체험，표현，감상 등 3영역에서 고루 중요한 도판으로 예시되어 있지만，비서양은 주로 미적체험 영역에서 전근대적인 문화재나 전통적인 미술품을 소개하는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

Multiculturalism derives from racial, cultural characteristics in American. With changes of the times, a global village makes us face troubles of tradition and nationalism involving homogeneous and consanguinity. And a trust of great antiquity involving the unity and an identity degenerated into a relic of the past. Furthermore, considering comprehension and respect about 'difference' and 'gap' is required due to inflow of diverse race. As this connection about 'difference' and 'gap', it could be called acceptance of multiculturalism which is reflected our society. In accordance that, importance of multicultural education could be referred for this implementation of multiculturalism. Multicultural education has understanding of diverse cultures, getting equal opportunities of education. It has been defined as process involving important purposes of education which develop affirmative attitude, recognition, wiping out prejudice and conduct about diverse cultures. Therefore this thesis could estimate recent locations, by researching diverse elements, works and visual images which are represented in 7 kinds of textbooks (At 7th subject of middle grade arts). This operates as a contextual means for unity purpose of subject. It could make schools construct global village as educating students recognition, acceptance of cultural diversity. And it is effort for exploiting curriculum which contents culturally, racially, socially diverse requirement.
