인권관점에 기반한 다문화교육 프로그램 설계 및 평가 준거 개발

국문 초록

본 연구는 다문화교육과 인권의 관계에 주목하여 인권의 관점에 기반하여 다문화 교육 프로그램을 설계하고 실행할 때 고려해야 할 프로그램 준거를 개발하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 먼저 인권의 성격 및 내용과 다문화교육과의 관계를 이론 적으로 고찰하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 다문화교육 프로그램의 설계 및 평가 준거를 일반적 수준과 구체적 수준으로 구분하여 제안하였다. 일반적인 수준에서는 다시 적극적인 차원과 소극적인 차원으로 구분하여 준거를 제시하였고，구체적인 수준에서는 목표ㆍ내용ㆍ방법과 기획ㆍ운영 차원으로 구분하여 제시하였다. 본 연구 결과를 바탕으로 학교교육 및 시민교육의 현장에서 적용되는 다문화교육 프로그램의 인권적 성격을 강화하는데 유용한 참조틀을 제공할 수 있을 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to develop some criteria for multicultural education program based on the human rights view which should be considered when designing and evaluating multicultural education program. For this aim, I theoretically analysed the relationship between multicutural education and the nature and contents of human rights. Based on the results of theoretical analysis I suggested the criteria for multicultural education program in two levels. Firstly at general levels the criteria for multicultural education program are divided into two dimensions: the positive(the proper function) and the negative(the reverse function) dimension. Secondly at specific levels the criteria for multicultural education program also are divided into goalㆍcontentㆍteaching method area and designingㆍimplementing area. Those criteria can be useful guidelines to enhance the quality of multicultural education program from the viewpoint of human rights.
