국문 초록

본 연구는 베트남 여성결혼이민자의 연결어미 사용 양상을 살피고, SPSS Ver.21를 활용하여 연결어미 사용과 거주기간 및 학습기간 간의 상관성 분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 45개의 연결어미 중에서 이민자가 산출한 연결어미의 종류는 총 22개로 조사되었다. 특히 이민자가 산출한 연결어미의 목록을 보면, 대부분 초급과 중급 수준으로 나타났다. 또한 상관성 분석 결과, 대등절과 부사절에서 모두 학습기간에서 양의(+) 상관성이 나타났다. 특히 학습기간과의 양(+)의 관계가 있는 연결어미 수가 많은 것으로 조사되었다. 이러한 연구 결과가 의미하는 바는 이민자의 연결어미 습득에 학습기간이라는 변인이 연결어미 습득에 더 강한 상관성을 지닌다는 것을 뜻한다. 그러므로 이민자 대상 한국어 교육에서 문법 교육이 장기간 지속적으로 이루어져야 할 필요가 있다. 마지막으로 본 연구는 연구 참여자가 베트남 국적에 한정되어 있고, 연결어미가 아닌 다른 문법 사용에 대한 논의는 하지 못하였다는 데 한계가 있다.

영문 초록

The objective of this study is to present the actual basis of necessities in which the Korean language education for married immigrant women should be lasting for a long time. For this, this study examined the aspect of married immigrant women’s use of connective endings focusing on the length of residence and length of learning. Especially, using the SPSS Ver.21, this study conducted the correlation analysis on the use of connective endings, length of residence, and length of learning. The results show that among 45 connective endings, there were total 22 kinds of connective endings produced by immigrants. Especially, most of the connective endings produced by immigrants were in the elementary and intermediate level. In the results of correlation analysis, there were positive correlations with both coordinate clause and adverbial clause. Moreover, there were lots of connective endings in positive relation with the length of learning. The results of this study imply that the length of learning is a variable having a stronger correlation with the immigrants’ acquisition of connective endings. Thus, it would be necessary to continuously provide the grammar education for a long time in Korean language education for immigrants. Lastly, the research participants of this study were limited to the immigrants with Vietnamese nationality, and this study did not discuss the use of grammar other than connective endings, which is the limitation of this study.
