온택트 수업상황에서 교수학습방법과 평가방법에 대한 학습자의 인식 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 2019년 코로나19로 인하여 갑작스럽게 맞이하게 된 온택트 수업상황에서 학습자들의 학습경험을 살펴보고, 향후 온택트 교수학습설계에 반영할 수 있는 설계이슈를 탐색하고자 수행되었다. 이를 위해, 본 연구는 온택트 수업에서의 수업진행방식, 교수학습방법, 평가방법, 온택트 수업의 유용성 및 개선사항 등 4개 영역, 59개의 설문문항을 구성하여 설문조사를 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학습자들은 동영상(M=4.00, SD=0.93)이나 PPT 등 강의콘텐츠(M=3.93, SD=0.93)를 제공하는 수업이 편의하며, 학습효과성도 높은 것으로 인식하고 있었다. 둘째, 코로나19 종식이후에도 학습자들은 ‘전면 대면 방식(38.1%)’, ‘전면 비대면 방식(15.7%)’에 비해, ‘대면과 비대면 병행 방식(45.5%)’을 선호하는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 온택트 수업에서 교수학습방법은 ‘팀프로젝트(M=2.79, SD=1.15)’보다 ‘게임학습(M=3.38, SD=1.09)’에 대한 요구가 높으며. 특히, ‘개별적 피드백 제공(M=3.95, SD=0.81)’에 대한 요구가 비교적 높게 나타났다. 넷째, 평가방법으로 ‘객관식 시험(M=3.83, SD=0.86)’, ‘시험대체 과제물 평가(M=3.82, SD=0.97)’, ‘오픈북 시험(M=3.80, SD=0.96)’ 방식이 적절하고, ‘주관식 시험(M=3.80, SD=0.97)’을 공정하다고 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 온택트 수업에서 평가를 실시하는 방식에 대해 LMS 등을 활용한 온라인 평가를 선호하는 것으로 나타났다(63.4%). 다섯째, 온택트 수업에 대해 학습자들은 시공간 제한이 없고, 반복학습 기회 제공, 융통적인 학습 가능, 교통 및 경제적 편의성에 대해 긍정적으로 인식하는 한편, 온택트 수업관리지침 마련, 공정한 평가방법 개선, 실시간 화상수업의 강의녹화 동영상 제공, 학습 인프라 제공 등을 개선사항으로 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 요컨대, 본 연구결과는 코로나19로 인하여 급속하게 조성된 온택트 수업상황에서 학습자들의 학습경험과 인식을 토대로 수업설계에 반영해야 할 5가지 이슈를 도출하였고, 이는 온택트 수업설계전략을 수립하는 데 반영할 수 있는 기초연구로서 유용하게 활용될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

영문 초록

This study was carried out to examine the learning experiences of learners in the on-tact class situation that was suddenly met due to COVID-19 in 2019, and to explore issues that can be reflected in the design of on-tact teaching and learning in the future. For this purpose, this study conducted a survey by composing 59 questionnaires in 4 areas including the class operation method, instructional method, evaluation method, usefulness and improvement of the on-tact class in the on-tact class. The main research results are as follows. First, learners perceived that classes that provide lecture contents (M=3.93, SD=0.93) such as videos (M=4.00, SD=0.93) or PPT are convenient and have high learning effectiveness. Second, even after the end of COVID-19, learners showed that they preferred the 'face-to-face and non-face-to-face parallel method (45.5%)' compared to the 'face-to-face method (38.1%)' and 'face-to-face method (15.7%)'. Third, the instructional method in the on-tact class has a higher demand for ‘game learning (M=3.38, SD=1.09)’ than ‘team project (M=2.79, SD=1.15)’. In particular, the demand for ‘providing individual feedback (M=3.95, SD=0.81)’ was found to be relatively high. Fourth, as the evaluation method, 'multiple-choice test (M=3.83, SD=0.86)', 'evaluation of test alternative assignments (M=3.82, SD=0.97)', 'open book test (M=3.80, SD=0.96)' It was found that this was appropriate, and that the 'one-of-a-kind test (M=3.80, SD=0.97)' was perceived as fair. In addition, it was found that online evaluation using LMS was preferred (63.4%) for the method of conducting the evaluation in the on-tact class. Fifth, for on-tact classes, learners positively perceive that there is no time and space limitation, provide repeat learning opportunities, flexible learning is possible, transportation and economic convenience, while preparing on-tact class management guidelines, improving fair evaluation methods, and real-time video. It was found that the provision of lecture recording videos and the provision of learning infrastructure were recognized as improvements. In summary, the results of this study derived five issues to be reflected in instructional design based on learners' learning experiences and perceptions in the on-tact class situations that was rapidly created due to COVID-19. It is expected to be usefully utilized as a basic research that can be reflected.
