학교 창의력을 어떻게 교육할 수 있는가?

국문 초록

본고는 학교 창의력의 가치와 특징적인 속성들을 분석하고 이에 기초하여 학교 창의력의 접근 스팩트럼을 넓일 수 있는 체제적 요인에 따른 창의력 교육 모형을 제시 하였다. 먼저 창의력(성)의 위치를 현행의 교육과정에서 확인하고 ‘창의융합형 인재’에 대한 몇 가지의 비판적 소견을 제기하였다. 그리고 학교 창의력이 가지고 있는 특성들을 과정중심의 창의력 대 산출중심의 창의력, 일상의창의 대 천재의 창의, 창의력의 요소와 범위 등에 따라 정리해 보았다. 다음으로발산적 - 수렴적 사고기법과 문제해결을 교과외 시간에서 별도로 수업하는 전통적인 학교 창의력 교육을 소극적 접근법으로 정의하고 여기에 대한 대안으로창의력의 체제 요인들과 이들의 상호작용들을 포괄적으로 이용하는 체제적 교육모형을 제시하였다. 마지막으로 이러한 체제에 포함되는 학습환경 요인과 개인적 요인(전문지식, 창의적 기능, 학습 동기)들의 각기에서 ‘창의와 혁신’을 위한 교육실제로서 무엇을 어떻게 할 수 있는지를 예시적으로 제시해 보았다.

영문 초록

This study attempted to propose a systems education model of the school creativity on the basis of confirming its place in educational curriculum and of identifying its area-specific characteristics. Firstly, noting the 'creative convergence thinking' described as the key value or vision of the elementary and secondary school education, several critical comments of it had been made. And then several characteristics of the school creativity were discussed with topics such as process-based vs. product-based definition, everyday creativity vs. genius creativity, and factors and scopes of the school creativity. Traditionally the school creativity education emphasized the techniques and principles of divergent and critical thinking and problem solving through education programs, but it could be rather limited in scope and paths to make it better called as 'passive model of the school creativity education'. Finally this study proposed a systems education model of the school creativity which employed the creativity systems elements and their interaction processes as very real sources and paths to creativity education. Then several educational practices had been suggested for each of the creativity systems elements.
