예비유아교사의 정서지능과 의사결정양식의 관계 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 예비유아교사의 전반적인 정서지능과 의사결정양식은 어떠하며, 이들 간의 관계와 시사점을 찾아보고자 하였다. 이를 위해 예비유아교사 151명을 대상으로 정서지능과 의사결정양식 연구도구를 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 예비유아교사의 정서지능은 비교적 높은 편이었으며, 전반적으로 합리적, 의존적, 직관적, 충동적, 회피적 스타일 순으로 의사결정을 내리는 경향을 보였다. 정서지능은 자기정서인식이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 의사결정양식은 합리적 의사결정이 가장 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 거의 모든 영역에서 형제 수가 많을수록 정서지능이 높게 나타났으며, 형제 수가 많을 경우 합리적 또는 의존적 의사결정을 내리는 경향이 있음을 알 수 있었다. 또한, 정서지능은 출생순위 셋째가 모든 영역에서 가장 높았으며, 의사결정양식은 출생순위 둘째가 합리적, 의존적 의사결정을, 첫째가 직관적, 회피적, 충동적 의사결정을 내리는 경향을 보였다. 셋째, 예비유아교사의 정서지능과 의사결정양식은 상관이 있으며, 합리적 의사결정의 경우 대인관계 다루기를 제외한 모든 정서지능 하위영역과 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다. 또한, 회피적 의사결정은 자기 동기화와 대인관계 다루기에서 부적 상관을, 충동적 의사결정은 대인관계 다루기와 정적 상관이 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore pre-service early childhood teachers' emotional intelligence and the decision-making style. For this, pre-service early childhood teachers in P University used the examination tools for emotional intelligence and decision-making style. According to the general characteristics of participants of the research, the frequency and percentage was examined to analyze and the correlation analysis was performed to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence and decision-making style. The result is like the following. First, in the sub-region of emotional self-awareness of pre-service early childhood teachers, the perception of emotional intelligence was the highest, and in the sub-region of the types of decision-making, rational decision-making was the highest. Secondly, as a result of examining the relationship between the number of siblings and emotional intelligence, in almost all areas, the more number of siblings was, the higher emotional intelligence was found, and the more number of siblings was, the more rational decision-making and dependent decision-making was made. Thirdly, as a result of examining the relationship between emotional intelligence and decision-making style, it was found that rational decision-making style is relevant with all emotional intelligence in the sub-region, and in the case of avoidant style, it has a talisman correlation with self synchronization and dealing with interpersonal relationships, and in the case of impulsive style, it has a static correlation with dealing of interpersonal relationship.
