동영상 제작 App 활용 수업이 창의성과 학습동기에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 동영상 제작 App을 활용한 수업이 창의성 및 학습동기에 미치는 효과를 검증하기 위한 것이다. 이를 위해 초등학교 5학년 2개 학급 52명을 대상으로 동영상 App을 활용하여 공익광고 동영상을 제작하는 수업을 4주에 걸쳐 12차시 수업을 실시하였다. 학급별로 수업 전, 후 창의성검사와 학습동기 검사를 실시하고 t검증을 한 결과와 논의를 통해 얻어진 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 동영상 제작 App을 활용한 동영상 제작 수업은 사전, 사후 창의성검사 결과 .05 수준에서 창의성 향상에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다(t=6.221, p<.05). 이는 학생들이 동영상을 제작 하는 과정에서 동영상 구상 및 제작, 편집 과정 전체에서 끊임없이 창의적인 아이디어를 생각하고, 흥미와 호기심을 가지고 어려움을 인내하며 모험심을 가지고 도전적으로 과제를 해결하였기 때문인 것으로 해석된다. 둘째, 동영상 제작 App을 활용한 동영상 제작 수업은 사전, 사후 학습동기검사 결과 .05 수준에서 학습동기 향상에 효과적인 것으로 나타났다(t=6.740, p<.05). 이는 스마트폰과 App의 특성 상 학생들의 주의집중을 이끌어 낼 수 있었으며 동영상 제작 App이 일상생활에서의 활용에 관련성이 있다는 것을 학생들이 이해했기 때문인 것으로 해석된다. 또한 공익광고, 광고 대회를 포함한 동영상 제작 경험을 통해 자신감을 얻고 결과물에 만족감을 얻었기 때문인 것으로 해석된다. 이러한 연구결론에 근거하여 후속 연구를 위해 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to provide the effect to creativity and learning motivation of instruction using application program for video production. In order to achieve the research purpose, We had 12 lessons by using the application for video production to fifty two students in two elementary school during four weeks. Following are the results for this research after the discussion. First, using the application program for video production in the class was effective in improving the creativity of the students. This is because students understand that creativity is the only way to success during making the video including coming up with the plan and editing. Also students participate in video production process with interest, and curiosity, understands the hardness of process to making the creative video, challenge it with adventurous spirit, and their confidence got higher during the presentation. Second, using the application for video production in class was effective in improving the learning motivation. This is because the smart phone application program can bring attention of the students and students understand that application program has relevancy with real life. Also students having the experience of making the video, such as public advertisement, advertising conference, get confidence and satisfaction with the result.
