시간관리 프로그램이 전환기 초등학생의 시간관리능력과 미래지향시간관에 미치는 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 시간관리 프로그램이 전환기 초등학생의 시간관리능력과 미래지향시간관을 향상시키는지 검증하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 본 연구자와 학습 컨설팅 전문가 1인이 협력하여 전환기 초등학생의 시간관리능력과 미래지향시간관 향상을 위한 시간관리 프로그램을 재구성하였다. 연구대상은 부산광역시 기장군 소재 A초등학교 6학년 2개 학급 학생 47명이었으며, 두 학급 중 한 학급을 실험집단으로, 다른 한 학급은 통제집단으로 선정하였다. 실험집단 23명의 학생들에게 초등교육과정 중 교과 시간과 창의적 체험활동 시간을 활용하여 주 2회씩 총 14회기로 구성된 프로그램을 실시하였다. 시간관리능력, 미래지향시간관 검사를 사전·사후에 실시한 후 그 효과를 공변량분석(ANCOVA)을 통해 알아보았다. 연구 결과, 시간관리 프로그램은 참여 학생의 시간관리능력의 향상에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 시간관리 하위 요인 중 계획하기와 실행하기 요인이 향상되었다. 그리고 시간관리 프로그램은 참여 학생의 미래지향시간관의 향상에 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 미래지향시간관 하위 요인 중 가치, 연속성 요인이 향상되었다. 이러한 결과를 통해 시간관리 프로그램이 전환기 초등학생의 시간관리능력을 향상시키고, 미래 시간의 가치와 미래 시간과 현재 시간의 연속성을 알고 이를 대비할 수 있는 능력을 함양하는데 도움이 될 수 있다는 사실을 검증하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to verify whether the Time Management Program(TMP) improves the time management ability of the transitioning elementary school students and their future time perspective. The author and one of the learning consulting experts worked together to reconstruct the TMP for improving the time management ability and the future time perspective of the elementary school students. The subjects of this study were 47 students drawn from 6th grade classes of an elementary school in Gi-Jang gun, Busan. One class was selected as experiment group and the other class was selected as control group. The experiment group participated in 14 sessions, two times a week, for the regular curriculum and creative experiential classes. Data were processed using ANCOVA. As a result, the TMP was found to be effective in improving the time management ability of participating students. Among the sub-factors of time management, the students’ planning and execution were improved. And the TMP was found to be effective in improving their future time perspective. Among the sub-factors of future time perspective, value and continuity were significantly improved. The results showed that the TMP can improve the time management ability of the transitioning ele- mentary school students and help them to develop the ability to know the value of future time and the continuity from future time to current time.
