국문 초록

본 연구는 유전자 변형 식물 등과 관련해서 다양한 윤리적인 문제들이 제기되고있는 가운데, 단순히 윤리적인 차원뿐만 아니라 기독교적인 관점에서 하나님의창조 명령에 순종하면서 인간의 창조성과 예술성을 개발하는 방법을 모색하는것을 그 목적으로 한다. 따라서 원래의 장미가 가진 단색의 화색을 무지개 색깔을발현하는 과정을 실제로 구현하였고, 그 과정에서 제기될 수 있는 다양한 윤리적문제들을 언급하면서 그러한 문제들에 대한 해결책으로서 염료염색방법을 제안했다. 이 방식은 인간의 창조성과 미적 추구에 대한 욕구를 총족시킴으로 경제적부가가치를 높일 수 있다는 장점 외에도 유전자 변형 식물에 대해 제기되는 윤리적문제들을 피해갈 수 있다는 점에서 그 차별성이 있다고 하겠다. 무엇보다 이 방식은 환경에 대한 문제에도 기여할 뿐만 아니라, 신학적으로도깊은 의미를 제공한다. 유전자의 조작을 통해 하나님의 창조물이나 생태계를 전혀파괴하지 않으면서 식물의 색깔에 변화를 주는 과정은 하나님께서 인간에게 허락하신 창조 명령에 순종하는 것으로 이해할 수 있다.

영문 초록

As various ethical issues have been raised regarding genetically modified plants, this study aims to explore ways to develop human creativity and artistry while obeying God's creation command from a Christian perspective, not just an ethical perspective. Therefore, the process of transforming the original rose from a single color to a rainbow of colors was practically implemented, and the absorption dyeing method was proposed as a solution to such problems, referring to various ethical issues that may be raised in the process. In addition to the advantage of increasing economic added value by satisfying the desire for human creativity and aesthetic pursuit, this method is differentiated by the fact that it avoids the ethical issues raised about genetically modified plants. Moreover, this approach not only contributes to environmental concerns, but also has deep theological implications. The process of changing the color of a plant without destroying God's creation or the ecosystem through genetic manipulation can be understood as obedience to God's command to create.
