기후위기 시대, 기독교 세계관에 기초한 숲유치원의 방향모색

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 기후위기 시대에 기독교의 환경보존에 대한 책무를 알아보고, 기독교 세계관에 기초한 숲유치원의 방향을 모색하였다. 기후위기의 근본 원인은 인간중심적 세계관, 현대의 산업과 기술과학의 성장, 그리고 소비지향적인 사회구조 등에 있다. 이에 기독교는 첫째, 창조주 하나님과 피조물인 인간과 자연의 올바른 관계를 정립하고, 둘째 생태환경은 우리 것이 아닌 하나님에게 속한 것임을 인정하며, 셋째 문화명령에 따라 피조물에 대한 청지기적 책임을 다 하며, 넷째, 하나님이 창조하신 모든 생명을 사랑하고 존중해야 한다. 기독교는 창조신앙에 기초한 교육을 통해 현재와 미래의 행복한 삶을 영위할 수 있도록 가르칠 교육적 사명이 있다. 숲유치원은 숲에서 생명중심의 지속가능교육을 실천하는 미래 교육으로 주목받고 있다. 기독교 세계관에 기초한 숲유치원의 방향은 첫째, 창조와 창조주의 존재를 믿는 창조신앙에 기초한 교육, 둘째 유아기 발달에 맞는 놀이와 쉼을 통해 안식과 회복의 교육, 셋째 인간과 자연의 공존과 상생의 삶을 가르치는 교육, 넷째 창조세계의 아름다움에 감사하는 교육, 다섯째, 청지기로서 자연을 누리되 관리와 돌봄을 실천하는 교육으로 운영한다.

영문 초록

In this study, the Christian responsibility for environmental preservation in the era of climate crisis was investigated, and the direction of Forest Kindergarten based on the Christian worldview was sought. The root cause of the climate crisis lies in a human-centered worldview, the growth of modern industry and technological science, and a consumption-oriented social structure. Accordingly, Christianity first establishes a correct relationship between God the Creator and human beings and nature, secondly recognizes that the ecological environment belongs to God, not ours, thirdly fulfills stewardship for creation in accordance with the cultural mandate, and fourthly, love and respect all life created by God. Christianity has an educational mission to teach the children to lead a happy life now and in the future through education based on the belief in creation. Forest Kindergarten is attracting attention as a future education that practices life-centered sustainable education in the forest. The direction of Forest Kindergarten based on the Christian worldview is, first, based on the belief in creation and the existence of the Creator; second, rest and recovery education through play and rest suitable for the development of infancy; and third, the coexistence of humans and nature and The life of coexistence must be taught. Fourth, appreciate the beauty of the creation. Fifth, enjoy the nature as a steward of the creation, but have the responsibility to manage and take care of it.
