국문 초록

이 연구는 2015 개정 기본교육과정 및 공통교육과정 초등학교 국어 교과서의 장애 관련 삽화가 장애인식교육에 미치는 영향을 분석하기 위하여 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 기본교육과정과 공통교육과정 초등학교 국어 교과서 모두를 분석하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2015 개정 기본교육과정 및 공통교육과정 초등학교 국어 교과서에서 장애인 삽화의 비율은 매우 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 2015 개정 기본교육과정 및 공통교육과정 초등학교 국어 교과서 삽화 중 지체장애의 삽화가 비중 있게 수록되어 있으나, 다른 장애영역은 현저히 낮거나 없는 것으로 분석되었다. 셋째, 2015 개정 기본교육과정 및 공통교육과정 초등학교 국어 교과서 장애지원 삽화는 현저히 적은 것으로 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구결과에 기초하여 첫째, 장애인 삽화가 균형적으로 삽입되어야 하며, 둘째, 다양한 장애유형의 삽화 구성을 위한 지침과 노력이 요구된다. 셋째, 장애인 삽화뿐 아니라, 장애 관련 삽화가 비중 있게 수록되어야 함을 이 연구에서는 제안하고 있다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to analyze illustrations related to disabilities in elementary school Korean language textbooks in the 2015 revised basic curriculum and common curriculum. To this end, both basic and common curriculum elementary school Korean language textbooks were analyzed. The results of the study are as follows. First, the proportion of illustrations for the disabled in elementary school Korean language textbooks in the 2015 revised basic curriculum and common curriculum is very low. Second, among the illustrations of elementary school Korean language textbooks in the 2015 revised basic curriculum and common curriculum, illustrations of physical disabilities are heavily included, but other areas of disability are significantly low or absent. Third, the 2015 revised basic curriculum and common curriculum illustrations for disability support in elementary school Korean textbooks are significantly low. I suggest, first, that guidelines and field efforts be required for the composition of illustrations covering various disability types, and that second, disability-related illustrations should be included in Korean textbooks for the lower grades.
