통합교육 환경에서 수학한 난청 대학생의 수어와 구어에 대한 인식 구조 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 통합교육 환경에서 수학한 난청학생을 대상으로 수어와 구어에 대한 인식을 알아보기 위하여 수행되었다. 전국의 37개 대학교에 재학하는 203명의 난청학생을 대상으로 수어와 구어에 대한 인식을 설문하였다. 수어와 구어에 대한 배경변인별 분석은 t/F 검정, 수어와 구어에 대한 구조관계 분석은 구조방정식 모델링을 적용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 난청학생의 수어에 대한 인식에 영향을 미치는 변인은 부모의 청력 상태와 부모의 수어 사용 능력이었다. 둘째, 난청학생의 구어에 대한 인식에 영향을 미치는 변인은 부모의 수어 사용 능력이었다. 셋째, 난청학생의 수어/구어에 대한 선택은 구어/수어에 대하여 부정적 인식으로 나타나며, 직접효과로만 설명되는 구조이다. 결론적으로 이 연구에서는 난청학생이 수어 또는 구어를 선택하면, 선택하지 않은 구어 또는 수어에 대한 인식이 배타적으로 형성될 수 있음을 시사하고 있다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to investigate the perception of sign language and spoken language among hard-of-hearing students who studied in an inclusive education environment. A survey was conducted on the perception of sign language and spoken language among 203 hard-of-hearing students attending 37 universities across the country. The t/F test and structural equation modeling were applied to investigate the structural relationship between sign language and spoken language for each background variable analysis. The results of this study were as follows. First, the variables affecting the perception of sign language of the hard-of-hearing students were the parents' hearing status and the parents' ability to use sign language. Second, the variable affecting the perception of the hard-of-hearing students was their parents' ability to use sign language. Third, the hard-of-hearing students choose sign language/spoken language as a negative perception of the spoken language/sign language, and it is a structure that is explained only by direct effects. In conclusion, this study suggests that when a student with hard of hearing loss selects a sign language or a spoken language, the perception of the non-selected spoken language or sign language can be formed exclusively.
