초등 국어과 글쓰기 교육을 위한 AI 문장 생성 웹 서비스 개발

국문 초록

본 연구에서는 문장을 자동으로 생성할 수 있는 자연어처리 인공지능 모델을 초등 국어과 문학 수업에 글쓰기 보조도구로 도입하여 인공지능의 교육적 활용 가능성을 알아보고자 하였다. 이를 위하여 자연어처리 인공지능 모델인 카카오 KoGPT를 활용하여 인공지능과 협업하며 글을 쓸 수 있는 웹서비스를 개발하였다. 그리고 개발된 웹서비스를 활용하는 국어과 글쓰기 수업의 타당성을 전문가 그룹이 참여한 설문과 인터뷰를 통해 검증하였다. 인공지능을 활용한 국어과 글쓰기 수업 효과를 알아보기 위해 연구에 참여한 학생들을 대상으로 수업 전후 쓰기 효능감 검사, 수업 후 인공지능 글쓰기 효능감 검사와 학습 결과물 분석, 전문가 대상 효과성 검증 설문조사를 실시하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 연구 결과 개발된 웹서비스와 수업의 타당도는 높게 나타났다. 인공지능 글쓰기 웹서비스 활용 수업 전과 후에 학생들의 글쓰기 효능감은 유의한 차이를 보이지는 않았다. 하지만 수업 후 실시한 인공지능 글쓰기 효능감 검사 결과는 쓰기 효능감 대비 인공지능 글쓰기가 학습자의 글쓰기 흥미, 기능, 자신감 향상에 긍정적인 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

In this study, the researchers investigated the educational potential of artificial intelligence by introducing a natural language processing AI model that can automatically generate sentences as a writing aid in elementary language and literature classes. To this end, a web service was developed that can conduct writing in collaboration with AI by utilizing Kakao KoGPT, a natural language processing AI model. In addition to that, the researchers verified the feasibility of A.I.- based language and writing classes through questionnaires and interviews with a group of experts consisting of educational researchers and teachers. To investigate the effectiveness of Korean language and writing classes using AI, the researchers conducted a pre- and post-lesson writing efficacy test for students who participated in the study, an AI writing efficacy test after the classes and analysis of learning outcomes, and an effectiveness verification survey for experts, and analyzed the results. The study results showed that the validity of the developed web service and class was found to be high and there was no significant difference in students' writing efficacy before and after utilizing the AI-based writing web service. On the other hand, the results of the AI writing efficacy test conducted after the class showed that compared to writing efficacy of students, AI writing has a positive effect on improving learners' interest in writing, skills, and confidence.
