국문 초록

교육 현장의 문제를 해결하기 위한 교육 방법에 관한 연구를 하는 학문이 태동한 지 오래되지 않았지만, 교육 현장의 문제점을 다양한 방법으로 혁신해 나가는 현시점에서 교육 방법의 역사를 살펴보는 것은 의미가 있다. 이 연구의 목적은 ‘한국교육방법학회지’에서 발행하는 ‘교육방법연구’ 논문 중 2002년 제14권 1호부터 2021년 제33권 4호까지 20년 동안 발행한 총 498편의 연구 동향을 살펴보고 ‘교육방법연구’의 방향을 제시하는 것이다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 최근 2년(2019~2020)의 피인용지수는 2.0으로 나타났다. 둘째, 연구 방법별 현황 분석 결과 양적연구가 324편(65%)으로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 다음이 실천연구 92편(18%), 이론연구 44편(9%), 질적연구 38편(8%)으로 나타났다. 셋째, 연구 대상별 현황 분석 결과 다층 대상이 193편(39%)으로 가장 많이 나타났으며, 다음이 대학생 191편(38%), 중등 학생 69편(14%), 초등학생 45편(9%)으로 나타났다. 넷째, 연구 주제별 현황 분석 결과 학습 방법이 199편(40%)으로 가장 높게 나타났으며, 그다음이 교육프로그램 개발 방법 118편(24%), 교수 방법 109편(22%), 연구 방법 72편(14%)으로 나타났다. 교육 방법론 연구 학술지는 피인용지수, 연구 대상, 연구 방법, 연구주제별로 분석해 본 결과 학술지의 정체성이 분명히 드러난 학술지로 평가할 수 있다.

영문 초록

Although the study of educational methods to solve problems in the education field has not been in existence for a long time, it is meaningful to examine the history of education methods at the present time when problems in the education field are innovated in various ways. The purpose of this study is to examine the research trends of a total of 498 published 'Education Method Research' papers published in the ‘The Korean Journal of Educational Methodology' during a period of 20 years, from 2002 (Volume 14, No. 1), to Volume 33, No. 4, published in 2021. The report aims to suggest the direction of 'education method research.' The study results are as follows. First, The citation index for the past two years (2019-2020) was 2.0. Second, as a result of analyzing the status of each research method, quantitative research was the most prominent in the field with 324 articles (65%), followed by 92 practical studies (18%), 44 theoretical studies (9%), and 38 qualitative studies (8 articles; %). Third, as a result of the analysis of the status of each study subject, the most frequently used were multi-layered subjects (193 articles; 39%), followed by 191 articles (38%) focusing on college students, 69 articles (14%) focusing on middle school students, and 45 articles (9%) focusing on elementary school students. Fourth, as a result of analyzing the status of each research topic, learning methods were addressed in the greatest number of studies (199 articles; 40%), followed by educational program development methods (118 articles; 24%), teaching methods (109 articles; 22%), and research methods (72 articles; 14%). The Korean Journal of Educational Methodology can be evaluated as academic journals that clearly reveal the identity of the journal as a result of an analysis by citation index, type of research subject, research method, and research topic.
