군 병사(용사)의 진로의식, 진로결정 자기효능감 및 진로스트레스에 대한 집단미술치료의 효과

국문 초록

본 연구는 집단미술치료 프로그램이 군 병사(용사)들의 진로의식, 진로결정 자기효능감 및 진로스트레스 대처능력 향상에 미치는 효과를 살펴보기 위한 것이다. 연구대상자는 전역일이 평균 10-11개월 정도 남은 계급의 군 병사(용사)들 중 자발적 참여 의사에 동의하며 미술치료 프로그램에 사전 신청한 인원 23명을 선정하여 실험집단 11명, 통제집단 12명에 무선 배정하였다. 실험집단에는 총 12회기로 구성된 집단미술치료 프로그램을 주 1회, 약 130분씩 실시하였다. 연구도구로는 한국판 진로의식척도(장범식, 2007)와 한국판 단축형 진로결정 자기효능감척도(이은경, 2001), 빗속의 사람 그림검사(PITR)를 사용하여 사전·사후 검사의 차이를 비교, 분석하였다. 그 결과, 실험집단의 진로의식 수준이 사후에 유의미하게 증가하였으며, 군 병사(용사)들의 진로결정 자기효능감은 엄격히 유의미하지는 않았으나, 실험집단과 통제집단 간의 차이를 나타냈다. 또한 실험집단의 군 병사(용사)들은 집단미술치료 프로그램 실시 후 진로스트레스에 대한 대처와 자원에서 유의미한 향상을 나타냈다. 본 연구는 진로에 특화된 집단미술치료가 군 병사(용사)들의 진로의식 및 진로결정 자기효능감 향상과 진로스트레스 대처에 긍정적인 효과가 있었음을 함의하였다. 끝으로 본 연구의 한계를 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the effects of group art therapy on enhancing soldiers’career maturity, career decision-making self-efficacy, and coping career stress. 23 participants whowould finish their duty in 10-11 months on average were selected, 11 of which were randomlyassigned to an experimental group, and 12 of which were to a comparison one. 12 sessions ofthe group art therapy was conducted to the experimental group for about 130 minutes once aweek. The measurements were Korean version of Career Maturity Scale, Korean short version ofCareer Decision-Making Self-Efficacy Scale, and Person-in-the-Rain Test. The differences of eachpre- and posttest measures were compared and analyzed. The results showed that first, the careermaturity level of the experimental group were significantly increased, second, the careerdecision-making self-efficacy level showed a difference between the experimental and thecomparison groups, though not in a strictly significant level, Furthermore, the resource andcoping levels against career stress were significantly enhanced after the group art therapyprogram. This study implies that the group art therapy specialized for career issues has positiveeffects on soldiers’ career maturity, career decision-making self-efficacy, and career stress. Finally,the limitations of this study were discussed.
