군 병사의 스마트폰 이용 동기와 군 생활 적응 간에 정서적 요인의 매개효과

국문 초록

연구목적 최근 군대에서는 스마트폰 사용에 익숙한 20대 병사들의 욕구를 반영하고, 낮선 군생활에서의 부적응 개선을 위해, 2020년 7월부터 전국 모든 병사들의 일과 후 스마트폰 사용을 허용하였다. 이에 본 연구는 군 병사의 스마트폰 이용동기와 군생활적응 간의 정서적 요인(사회적지지, 자아탄력성, 자아존중감)의 매개 효과를 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법: 경기도 소재 이천 지역 병사를 대상으로 2021년 11월 1일부터 13일까지 수집한 97부의 자료를 SPSS 23.0과 SPSS Macro로 기술통계, 상관분석, 위계적 회귀분석 및 다중매개모델 검증 및 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 그 결과 스마트폰 이용동기와 군생활적응 간에 사회적지지, 자아탄력성의 매개효과가 있었으나 자아존중감의 매개효과는 없었고, 스마트폰 이용동기와 군생활적응 간의 직접효과는 없는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 병사들의 스마트폰 이용동기가 사회적지지와 자아탄력성을 높일 수 있고 이를 통해 군생활적응에 긍정적인 영향을 줄 수 있음을 의미한다. 이 연구결과는 적절한 스마트폰 이용활용 교육을 통해 정서요인을 향상시켜 군생활에 대한 적응을 향상시키는 방안을 마련해야 할 것으로 시사한다.

영문 초록

Recently, the military has allowed smartphones after work for all soldiers since July 2020 to reflect the needs of soldiers in their 20s who are familiar with using smartphones and to improve maladjustment in military life. Therefore, this study attempted to investigate the mediating effect of emotional factors (social support, self-esteem, and resilience)between soldiers' motivation for using a smartphone and adaption of military life. To this end, 121 copies of the data collected from November 1 to 13, 2021 for soldiers in Icheon, Gyeonggi-do, were subjected to technical statistics, correlation analysis, hierarchical regression analysis, and multi-mediated model verification and analysis with SPSS 23.0 and SPSS Macro. As a result, it was found that social support, and resilience had a significant mediating effect and self-esteem had no significant mediating effect between soldiers' motivation for using a smartphone and adaption of military life, and there was no direct effect between motivation for using a smartphone and adaption of military life. This means that soldiers with high motivation to use smartphones, social support and resilience are better positive in adapting to military life. This suggests that in order to increase soldiers' adaptation to military life. It is suggested that it is necessary to prepare a plan to improve adaptation to military life by improving emotional factors through appropriate smartphone usage education.
