국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 슈퍼비전을 적용한 학교 밖 전문기관 연계 체계적 읽기 프로그램이 난독증 및 읽기부진 학생의음운처리 및 읽기 성취도에 미치는 효과를 검증하는 데 있다. 연구대상자는 초등학교 3~4학년이었으며, 총 18명이었다. 문해교육 전문가인 슈퍼바이저는 학교 밖 전문기관의 중재자에게 중재 기간 전반에 걸쳐 집중 연수와 지도 방향, 자료 등에 대한 슈퍼비전을 제공하였으며, 이를 토대로 중재자는 대상 학생의 읽기 수준을 고려한 맞춤형 체계적 읽기 프로그램을 18~20 회기 실시하였다. 또한 학부모와 담임교사, 중재자 간 협력 관계를 구축하여 가정과 학교에서도 일관되게 교수하도록 노력하였다. 프로그램의 효과성 검증을 위해 Wilcoxon Signed Rank test를 실시한 결과 음운처리능력(음운인식, 음운기억, 빠른 이름대기)에서 유의한 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 읽기 성취도에서는 단어 읽기와 읽기 유창성에서 유의한 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 바탕으로 논의와 후속 연구를 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of systematic reading intervention with application of supervision in connection with out-of-school professional institutes on phonological processing and reading achievement of students with reading difficulties. For the study, a total of 18 elementary students in grades 3-4 were participated. A supervisor, a literacy expert, provided intensive and consistent supervision to instructors at an out-of-school professional institution throughout the intervention period by suggesting instructional directions and materials for teaching the students. The instructors provided the systematic reading intervention designed to meet the students’individualized reading needs in 18-20 lessons for each student. In addition, parents and general education teachers tried to teach the students at home and school, using the same instructional approach. The results of Wilcoxon Signed Rank test showed significant improvements on phonological awareness, phonological memory, and rapid naming in phonological processing of the students. In addition, significant improvements were found for word reading and reading fluency in reading achievement. The researchers proposed suggestions and future research based on the findings.
