국문 초록

실천신학이 가지는 현장이라는 특성은 실천신학이 체계적인 학문의 영역이기보다 기 능 중심적 성격이 강한 영역으로 오해를 불러일으키기도 한다. 이러한 오해는 실천신학 이 이론 중심 신학 영역으로서 교의학, 역사신학, 성경신학 등에 비하여 상대적으로 학 문적이지 않은 것은 아닌가에 대한 오해와도 연결되어 있기도 하다. 하지만 실천신학은 학문적 체계와 더불어 기능적인 활동을 담보해야 하는 말 그대로의 실천적 성격이 강한 학문 영역이다. 이는 실천신학의 적용 영역과 대상이 ‘삶’이라는 구체적인 영역이라는 점 을 고려할 때 더욱 이해될 수 있다. 실천신학의 적용 영역과 대상이 ‘삶’이라는 점은 내 러티브를 활용한 실천신학의 적용 가능성을 바라보게 한다. 이러한 맥락 속에서 본 연구 는 내러티브 및 실천신학의 개념과 의미를 살펴보고, 내러티브의 실천신학 연구에로의 적용 가능성을 탐색해보았다. 그 결과 실천신학 연구로의 적용은 실천신학적 연구주제 도출을 위한 신선한 시각, 현장 지향적인 해결 방안 지원, 구성원 간의 이해와 소통 가 능성, 연구자의 성장과 성숙을 추구할 가능성이라는 4가지 측면에 의해서 실제로 적용 될 수 있음을 탐색해보았다. 그리고 해당 사항들이 적용된 실천신학 내에서의 내러티브 적용 연구 사례를 소개해보았다.

영문 초록

The nature of practical theology can be depicted as a field oriented theology. This may cause misunderstandings that practical theology has a strong function-oriented character rather than a well organized field of study. This misunderstanding is also connected with the misunderstanding that practical theology is not a relatively academic field compared to dogmatic, historical, and biblical theology that are theoretical-oriented fields. However, practical theology is an academic field with a strong practical character in a literal sense that must ensure functional activities along with the academic system. This can only be understood under the assumption that applicable object of practical theology concerns ‘life’. Interestingly, the fact that the application area and subject of practical theology is 'life' makes researchers look into the applicability of practical theology using narrative. In this context, this study examines the concepts and meanings of narrative and practical theology, and explores the applicability of narrative to practical theology research. As a result, this study explores that the practical theological research is applicable in four aspects: fresh perspectives for deriving practical theological research topics, field-oriented solution support, understanding and communication among members, and the possibility of pursuing researcher growth and maturity. In addition, the study introduces a case study of the application of narrative within practical theology to which these items were applied.
