시각장애 등의 특수교육공학 관련 도서 분석을 통한 특수교육공학의 학술 동향 탐색

국문 초록

연구 목적: 국내에서 발행된 시각장애 등의 특수교육공학 관련 도서를 대상으로 분포 및 타 학문 분야와의 관련성 등을 분석하여 특수교육공학의 학술 동향을 탐색하고자 하였다. 연구 방법: 국립중앙도서관과 국회도서관에 소장된 특수교육공학 관련 도서 자료의 서지 정보를 수집하여 선정 기준에 따라 분석 대상 자료를 정리하였다. 선정된 분석 대상 자료는 특수교육공학 관련 도서의 일반적 현황, 도서 분류체계에 따른 도서 현황, 장애 영역별 도서 현황으로 분석되었다. 연구 결과 및 논의: 1980년대에 시작된 특수교육공학 관련 도서 발행은 40년간 꾸준히 성장하며 특수교육공학 발전에 이바지했다. 특수교육공학 관련 도서는 사회과학 내의 사회학과 교육학 분야, 기술 내의 의학 분야와 깊이 관련되며, 그 밖에도 다양한 학문 분야와 관련되어 있다. 특수교육공학 관련 도서는 초기에 청각장애의 보청기, 지체장애의 휠체어, 시각장애의 보행 보조 관련 도서로부터 확산되었으며, 이후 여러 장애 영역으로 그 범위가 확장되었다. 제언: 이 연구를 토대로 몇몇 후속 연구의 방향성을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to explore the academic trends in special education technology including Visual Impairment by analyzing books on special education technology which were published in South Korea. Method: Bibliographical information on Special Education Technology books in The National Library of Korea and The National Assembly Library was collected, and the data were classified according to the selection criteria. Selection criteria were the general status of special education technology, the status according to the classification system of the book, and the status of books according to the disability area. Results: Books began to be published on special education technology in the 1980s and the amount of literature has steadily grown for 40 years, and contributed to the development of special education technology. Books on special education technology are highly correlated to sociology and pedagogy in the social sciences and medicine in technology, as well as various academic fields. Literature was initially published in the fields of hearing aids for hearing impairment, wheelchairs for physical disabilities, and mobility aids for visual impairment, and then expanded to various disability areas. Conclusion: Based on this study, several research directions are suggested for future research.
