국문 초록

다문화가정 학부모는 교사와의 의사소통에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 다문화가정 학부모와 교사 간에 의사소통의 어려움은 자녀들의 학교생활 부적응과 학습 동기에도 큰 영향을 미친다. 본 연구는 초등학교담임 교사와 다문화가정 학부모를 대상으로 교육정보 격차 해소 수단의 기능으로서의 효과성과 더불어다문화가정 자녀들의 학교생활 부적응 부분과 학습 동기 유발에 미치는 효과를 살펴보기 위하여 학부모의 모국어로 번역된 알림장을 학부모들에게 제공하였다. 서울 지역 64개 학교, 다문화 초등학생 학부모100명을 대상으로 하여 연구를 진행하였다. 연구 방법으로는 종합적 효과성 분석 방법을 사용하였다. 본 연구는 다문화가정 자녀의 초등학교 입학 및 저학년 시기, 특히 자녀와 학부모에게 가장 큰 변화가일어나는 시기에 초점을 맞추어 모국어로 번역된 알림장이 지원된 이후 나타나는 효과를 살펴보고자하였다. 그로 인해 나타난 주요 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 다문화가정 학부모에게 모국어로번역된 알림장 제공은 교육정보 격차 해소에 긍정적 효과를 나타내는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 다문화가정 학부모의 모국어로 번역된 알림장 제공은 자녀의 학교생활에 대한 정보 취득으로 인해 학교생활부적응 부분 해소에 긍정적 효과를 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 다문화가정 학부모의 모국어로번역된 알림장 제공은 자녀의 학습 동기에 긍정적 효과를 보여주었다. 이러한 결과는 다문화가정의학령기 아동들이 원활하게 학교생활에 적응하기 위해서는 다문화가정 학부모의 모국어로 번역된 알림장의 보급이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Parents from multicultural families are experiencing difficulties in communication and communication methods between parents and teachers. These have a great influence on children's school life and learning motivation.This study translated notifications and provided them to parents of multicultural families to examine the effectiveness of the educational information gap for elementary school teachers and parents of multicultural families and the effect of children from multicultural families on school life maladjustment and learning motivation. A study was conducted on 100 parents of multicultural elementary school students from 64 schools in Seoul. As a research method, a comprehensive effectiveness analysis method was used. This study attempted to prove the effect of notification letters translated into the mother tongue on children and parents of multicultural families when children from multicultural families enter elementary school.First, the notification letter translated into the mother tongue for parents of multicultural families showed a positive effect on bridging the educational information gap. Second, the notification letter translated into the mother tongue of parents from multicultural families negatively affects their children's school life information and maladjustment to school life. Third, the notification letter translated into the mother tongue of parents from multicultural families has a positive effect on their children's learning motivation. These results show that for the smooth adaptation of school-age children from multicultural families, it is necessary to distribute notification letters translated into the mother tongue of parents from multicultural families.
