시민 참여형 프로젝트 ‘안녕의 기록’을 통해 본 지역화의 의미 고찰

국문 초록

지방 분권 시대가 열리면서 지역의 문화예술계를 활성화하고 주민의 문화예술 향유기회를 확대하기 위해 지역 문화 기관들이 설립되었다. 그 동안 지역민들의 삶 속에문화예술이 스며들게 하기 위해 지역화가 강조되어 왔다. 지역 문화 기관들에게 요구되고 있는 지역화는 지역사회 기반 미술교육(Community-Based Art Education)에서추구하는 바와 유사점이 많다. 지역사회 기반 미술교육의 다양한 형태를 통해 지역화의의미에 대해 고찰해 볼 수 있을 것이다. 문화예술교육 프로그램을 지역화한다고 할때 지역의 역사나 문화유산, 자연환경 등을 반영하는 경우가 많은데 그보다는 지역사회가 겪고 있는 현재의 상황에 보다 집중하는 할 필요가 있다고 본다. 시민 참여형 프로젝트‘안녕의 기록’은 위기 상황에 처한 지역사회의 문제를 예술적인 방법으로 해소하고기록하였다. 지역사회가 겪고 있는 현재의 문제에 집중한 프로젝트가 가진 효과를 알아보기 위해 프로젝트의 주체였던 지역문화재단 담당자, 지역 예술가, 지역 주민을 인터뷰하였다. 지역문화재단 담당자, 지역 예술가, 지역 주민들은 프로젝트를 통해 ‘창작자와소비자 간 경계 허물기’, ‘마음 주고 받기’, ‘타인에게 호기심 갖기’, ‘프로젝트가 가져온것’, ‘지역사회에 대한 생각 바꾸기’, ‘지속되기를 바라는 마음’이 주제로 도출되었다.

영문 초록

With the opening of the era of decentralization, local arts and cultural institutions have been established to revitalize the local arts and culture community and to expand opportunities for residents to enjoy arts and culture. Until now, localization has been emphasized to permeate arts and culture into the lives of local people. Localization, which is required to local arts and cultural institutions, has many similarities to the pursuit of Community-Based Art Education. The meaning of localization can be considered through various forms of Community-Based Art Education. Localization of arts and culture education programs often reflects the history of the region, cultural heritage, and natural environment, but I think it is more important to focus on the current situation experienced by the local community. The participatory art project 'The Record of Hello' solved and recorded the problems of local communities in a very artistic way. In order to find out the effectiveness of the project focused on the current problems experienced by the local community, local arts and culture institution officials, local artists, and local residents were interviewed. Through the interviews, six themes were drawn; breaking the boundary between creators and consumers, exchanging hearts, curiosity to others, what the project brings, reconsidering about the community, and hoping to be continued.
