중학교 미술교과서 분석에 기초한 전통미술교육 활성화 방안 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 중학교 미술교과서 분석을 기초로 하여 전통미술교육이 교육 현장에서활성화하는 방안을 모색하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이에 따라 전통미술과 전통미술교육에 대한 문헌 조사와 선행연구를 통하여 이론적으로 고찰하였으며, 중학교 미술교과서의내용분석과 현직 미술교사를 면담하여 질적연구를 진행하였다. 분석대상은 현재 사용중인 검·인정 중학교 미술교과서 14종, ①, ②권으로 총 28권을 선정하여 내용분석을진행하였으며, 현행 중학교 미술과 교육과정과 전통미술교육의 연계성을 찾아 분석기준을 선정하고 세분화하였다. 연구결과의 도출을 위해 교과서 분석결과와 수집된 중학교미술교사 면담자료 결과를 종합하였다. 분석한 결과, 현행 2015 개정 중학교 미술교과서에서 전통미술 영역은 평균 약 11%로 나타났으며 교과서별로 반영이 상이하였다. 또한, 전통미술교육은 체험과 감상 영역보다는 표현 영역에만 치중하여 제시하고 있었다. 이는 중학교 미술교과서에서 전통미술 영역의 비중을 확보하고 영역별 구성 및 내용의적정화가 필요함을 보여준다. 향후 연구에서는 차기 2022 개정 미술과 교육과정을반영한 중학교 미술교과서를 대상으로 연구가 진행될 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to seek for plans to revitalize traditional art education in the educational field based on the analysis of middle school art textbooks. Accordingly, it was considered theoretically through literature research and previous research analysis on Korean traditional art and traditional art education, and qualitative research was conducted by analyzing the contents of middle school art textbooks and synthesizing the contents of interviews with current middle school art teachers. The analysis target was a total of 28 textbooks, 14 types including 1 and 2 volumes, of 2015 revised middle school art textbooks currently in use, and texts and images of art textbooks were analyzed according to detailed analysis criteria. In addition, opinions on points of improvement were synthesized through the individual interview with 11 teachers. As a results of the middle school art textbooks analysis, the area of the traditional art accounted for an average of approximately 11% of the total, and the proportion of traditional art fields was different for each publisher. Thus current middle school art textbooks should secure the proportion of traditional art area and optimize in the aspect of composition and content. In future research, it is necessary to study on middle school art textbooks reflecting the next revised art curriculum in 2022.
