중장년세대 1인가구 여성의 해방경험에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 중장년세대 1인가구 여성의 해방과정을 심층적으로 탐색한 사례연구이다. 유의표집으로선정한 연구참여자 10명을 심층면담 한 자료를 분석한 결과 4개의 핵심범주와 14개의 하위범주가 도출되었다. 주요 분석결과는 첫째, 실험대로 내모는 사회적 억압(원가족의 억압, 유사연령의 기혼 여성들로부터 배제, 신 취약계층으로 간주, 가부장적 문화가 통용되는 직장, 1인가구로 편향하는 네트워크 기회), 둘째, 내면회된 억압 의식화(원가족 예속을 당연시하는 나, 관계의 위기를 비혼에 귀속시키는 나, 관계망에 의존하는 나, 1인가구의 실존을 고민하는 나), 셋째, 해방을 향한 기제 동원(회피적 방어기제 동원, 능동적 대처 동원), 넷째, 1인가구로 정착(원가족과 협력적 살림살이, 사회적 가족과 연대하는 삶, 자기삶의 기획자)하였다. 연구의 결과를 바탕으로 중장년세대 여성 1인가구에 대한 부정적 관점을 원가족과협력하고 사회적 가족과 연대하면서 주체적 삶을 구성해가는 관점으로 전환하여 대응책을 마련할 근거자료를 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The study aimed to exploring emancipation experience of middle-aged woman in singleperson households. Participants were selected by the significant sampling method. Researcher conducted a couple of in‐depth interviews with ten middle‐aged woman living alone. The validity of the study was confirmed by in‐case and cross‐case analysis. The analysis revealed fourteen sub‐themes in four main themes: forcing social repression(suppression from original families, exclusion from married contemporaries, patriarchal workplace culture, network opportunities biased toward living alone, considered new vulnerable group), the ritualization of internal oppression(taking‘I’the original family repression for granted, attributing the crisis of the relationship to non-marriage, relying on the network, and questioning the life of living alone), mobilizing mechanism for emancipation(mobilize positive or negative defense mechanism), settlement living alone(cooperation with the original families, forming social families and solidarity, planer of one’s own life). The results of the study are implications in that they explored in‐depth the dynamic processes of Middle‐aged Woman in single‐person households.
