20~30대 미혼 여성 유방암 생존자의 암 진단 이후 경험에 대한 질적연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 20~30대 미혼 여성 유방암 생존자의 유방암 진단부터 의료적 처치 및 극복과정과더불어 사회적 분위기, 직장 내 지원, 정부의 정책 등이 젊은 미혼 여성 유방암 생존자에게 어떠한영향을 미쳤는지 파악하고 변화된 삶의 방향을 이해하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 Braun and Clarke(2006) 의 주제분석을 활용하여 질적연구를 진행하였다. 의도적 표집(purposive sampling)에 의해 선정된총 8명을 대상으로 심층 인터뷰를 시행한 결과 ‘청춘의 한가운데 마주친 유방암’, ‘젊기에 부족하다고느껴지는 제도적 지원’, ‘큰 힘이 된 사회적 자원’, ‘녹록지 않은 사회로의 복귀’, ‘지속적 관리가 필요한질병인 유방암’, ‘나 자신을 위하는 방향으로 변화한 가치관’이라는 6개의 상위주제와 18개의 하위주제가 도출되었다. 본 연구결과를 토대로 20~30대 미혼 여성 유방암 생존자를 지원하기 위한 정책적 제언을제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study aims to investigate the impact of breast cancer diagnosis, medical treatment, and overcoming process on unmarried female breast cancer survivors in their 20s and 30s, as well as the effects of a social atmosphere, workplace support, and government policy on them. This study also tries to understand their changed life direction. Qualitative research was conducted utilizing the thematic analysis of Braun and Clarke(2006) to carry out the purpose of this study. As the result of the in-depth interview conducted with a total of 8 people selected by purposive sampling, six topics and 18 subtopics were derived. The six topics derived from the interview are as follows: ‘Facing breast cancer in the middle of my youth’, ‘Lack of institutional support that young people think’, ‘Social support that became the backbone of my life’, ‘the struggle to return to society’, ‘Breast cancer, a disease that needs constant care’, ‘Values that have changed their direction solely for one’s self.’ Based on the result of research, this study suggests political, psychological, and social support for unmarried female breast cancer survivors in their 20s and 30s.
