국문 초록

본 연구는 평생교육 교수자의 교수역량, 의사소통, 성인 학습자의 자기 주도학습능력, 학습성과 간의 구조적 관계를 파악하고 매개 효과를 규명하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 평생교육 참여 경험이 있는 성인 학습자 557명을 대상으로 SPSS WIN 23.0과 AMOS 26.0 프로그램을 사용하여 연구를 진행하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 교수역량은 교수자의 의사소통과 성인 학습자의 자기주도 학습능력에 유의미한 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 또한 교수역량의 하위변인인 기획역량은 성인 학습자의 학습성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 교수자의 의사소통과 성인 학습자의 자기주도학습 능력은 학습성과에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 확인되었다. 셋째, 교수자의 의사소통과 성인 학습자의 자기주도학습 능력은 교수역량과 학습성과 간의 관계에서 매개 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 이와 같은 연구결과를 기반으로 변인들 간의 영향 관계를 파악하여 성인 학습자의 학습성과 극대화와 평생교육의 질적 향상을 위한 교수역량 전략 수립의 기초자료를 제공하는 데 의미가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to identify the structural relationship between lifelong education instructor's teaching competency, communication, adult learner's self-directed learning ability, and learning outcomes and to investigate the mediating effect. To this end, a study was conducted using SPSS WIN 23.0 and AMOS 26.0 programs for 557 adult learners with experience in lifelong education. As a result of the study, first, it was confirmed that teaching competency had a significant effect on the instructor's communication and adult learners' self-directed learning ability. In addition, it was found that planning competency, a sub-variable of teaching competency, had a positive effect on the learning performance of adult learners. Second, it was confirmed that the instructor's communication and adult learners' self-directed learning ability had a positive effect on learning outcomes. Third, it was found that the instructor's communication and adult learner's self-directed learning ability had a mediating effect in the relationship between teaching competency and learning outcomes. Based on these research results, this study is meaningful in providing basic data on the establishment of teaching competency strategies for maximizing the learning performance of adult learners and improving the quality of lifelong education.
