국문 초록

본 연구는 신생학회 설립을 위한 준비과정에 참여한 평생교육HRD를 전공한 박사들의 활동과 진행 과정을 추적한 기록물이다. 연구 진행은 학문적 체계를 담당하는 학회가 만들어지는 과정을 참여자의 경험을 토대로 내러티브로 기술하고 자문화기술지로 보완하였다. 연구내용은 학회설립 과정에 참여한 7명의 활동을 통해 신생학회가 무형(無形)에서 유형(有形)의 모습을 갖추어 가는 과정을 회의 진행의 관찰과 기록, 면담, 에세이 등의 실증적 자료를 통해 살펴보았다. 본 연구의 주된 관심은 학회설립 과정의 견해와 의미를 참여자의 관점에서 이해하고 발견하는 데 있다. 본 연구에서 학회설립 과정을 알기 위해 설정한 연구 질문은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 학회설립이 참여자들에게 미치는 의미, 둘째, 참여 과정에서의 갈등과 극복의 과정, 셋째, 학회설립 과정의 내러티브에 대한 학문적 의미이다. 이러한 문제를 해결하고자 추적한 내러티브의 연구경로는 ‘참여 초기’-‘참여 중기’-‘참여 말기’이다. 연구 결과로 도출된 학회설립 과정의 인식은 ‘수행-고충-책임’으로 나타났다. 이러한 활동을 통한 역할 변화는 ‘학회설립준비위’-‘창립총회 추진 위’-‘공동연구 활동’-‘학회설립’-‘연구 지속’ 등으로 이어졌다. 연구 결론은 학회설립의 참여 경험은 기존학회의 주변 의식에서 새로운 기준을 제시하는 주인의식으로 인식이 전환된 점이다. 이러한 경험은 학회를 바라보는 ‘안목 확장’과 박사로서 필요한 인식과 역할에 대한 ‘태도의 변화’를 발견하였다는 점에서 이 연구는 평생 학습적 함의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study is a record following the activities and development of the PhDs who have engaged in the preparation case for the establishment of the 00 Society. The research process was stated as a narrative grounded in the experiences of the applicants in the procedure of establishing a society in charge of the academic system. The topics of the research are the activities of the 7 people who partook in the establishment process and how the meeting was held. In the process, it was examined through observational data, such as inspections, archives, and interviews, to see if the society was organized from being nonexistent to material. The fundamental matter of this study is to understand the perspective and meanings of the establishment process from the viewpoint of the candidates. The research questions set in this study are to understand the establishment process as follows. First, the meaning of the establishment of a society on the candidates, second, the process of conflict and resolution during the participation process, and third, the academic meaning of the establishment process archives of the of the society. In order to figure out these problems, the research path of the history tracked are ‘early participation’-‘mid-participation’–‘late participation’ periods. It was observed that the participants experienced ‘achievement- hardship-responsibility during the establishment process of the society. The responsibility felt by the participants led to ‘Society Establishment Preparation Committee’-‘The Founding General Assembly Promotion Committee’ - ‘Joint Research Activities’-‘Journal Publications’-‘Research Continuation’ in the ultimate goal of establishing the society . The involvement by the participants in the establishment process resulted in their perceptions transitioning from being bystanders to active participants. These experiences have meaning in that they 'expanded vision' and 'changed attitudes' towards the society.
