사회복지상담원의 상담개입 경험에 관한 사례연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 사회복지상담원들이 상담 개입의 딜레마와 그것을 극복하는 긍정적 요인이 무엇인지 탐색하여 학문적 기초자료 확보와 사회복지상담원의 상담 개입업무 효율성을 도모하기 위한 방향 설정 및 사회복지상담 교육의 토대를 마련하는데 있다. 이러한 목적을 위해 노인보호전문기관에서 사회복지상담개입업무와 슈퍼비전 수행 경력을 가진 관리자급 5명을 대상으로 개별 심층인터뷰를 진행하였고, 탐색적 사례연구방법을 사용하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 가치와 현실의 충돌을 사회복지 실천 가치로, 상담개입 능력 부족을 환골탈태로 극복하며 상담개입 업무 전문성을 위한 필요 모색이라는 3개의 본질적 주제와 16개의 드러난 주제가 도출되었다. 둘째, 노인보호전문기관 사회복지상담원들의 내러티브에서 생명존엄, 노인의 삶에 대한 존중과 함께 사회복지 실천 가치를 자신의 삶과 합치하려는 노력을 발견할 수 있었다. 셋째, 자신의 생활에서 사회복지 실천 가치와 다르지 않은 일관성을 유지하려 노력하므로, 상담실천의 주요소 중 하나인 가치의 문제가 역할과 기능의 수행에 큰 영향을 준다는 사실이 확인되었다. 이에 사회복지상담원의 상담실천에 대한 기본 가치와 기술의 융합적 통합으로 다양한 상담 교육의 기회 부여가 필요함을 제언하였다. 본 연구는 급격히 전문가의 수요가 증가하고 있고 전문성이 요구되는 사회복지상담실천 영역에서 전문가를 양성하는데 필요한 교육내용과 방향이 제시되었다는데 이론적이고 실천적인 함의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the positive factors for social welfare counselors to overcome the dilemma of counseling intervention, to secure academic basic data, to set a direction for social welfare counselors to promote counseling intervention efficiency, and to establish a practical foundation for social welfare counseling education. would like to provide In order to achieve the objective, individual in-depth interviews were conducted with 5 managers with experience in counseling intervention and supervision at an institution specializing in elder protection, and an exploratory case study method was used. The research results are as follows. first, three essential themes and 16 revealed themes were derived: clash of values ​​and reality: values ​​of social welfare practice, lack of counseling intervention ability: metamorphosis, seeking the need for professional counseling intervention work. second, in the narratives of the social welfare counselors at an institution specializing in the protection of the elderly, it was possible to find respect for the lives of the elderly and efforts to align the values ​​of social welfare practice with their own lives. third, It was confirmed that the problem of values, which is one of the main factors of counseling practice, has a great influence on the performance of roles and functions, as they try to maintain consistency that is not different from the values ​​of social welfare practice in their lives. This study has theoretical and practical implications in that the educational content and direction necessary to nurture experts in the field of social welfare counseling practice where the demand for experts is rapidly increasing and professionalism is required was presented.
