성인장애인 평생교육의 실태와 욕구 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 장애인 평생교육의 실태와 욕구를 분석하는데 목적을 두고 있다. 이를 위해 장애인의 평생교육에 관한 선행연구를 실시하고 이를 검증하기 위해 설문조사를 실시하고 분석하였다. 그 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장애인들이 평생교육 참여경험이 있는 경우와 참여하고 있는 경우가 많았으며, 주로 문화예술교육에 참여하는 경우가 많았으며, 수강료가 없는 프로그램에 많이 참여하고 있는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 많은 장애인들이 평생교육 참여를 원하고 있으며, 통합교육에 대한 욕구도 높았으며, 평생교육실시 선호기관으로 장애인복지관과 장애인평생교육기관을 선호하였다. 셋째, 장애인들의 평생교육 참여에 대한 주된 장애요인으로는 교육관련 정보의 부재, 교육프로그램의 부재, 교통수단의 불편, 활동보조의 문제와 수강료 문제 등으로 나타났다. 본 연구결과는 장애인의 평생교육 이용실태와 욕구를 파악하여 장애인 평생교육에 관한 정책과 프로그램 개발에 대한 기초자료를 제시하였다는 데 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the actual condition and desire of lifelong education for the disabled. For this purpose, the study conducted a preliminary study on lifelong education of the disabled and conducted a survey to verify it. The results are as follows. First, the disabled people were often involved in lifelong education, and they were mostly involved in culture and arts education, and they were participating in programs without tuition fees. Second, many disabled people want to participate in lifelong education, and they have high desire for integrated education, and they prefer welfare centers for the disabled and lifelong education institutions for the disabled as preferred institutions for lifelong education. Third, the main obstacles to participation in lifelong education of the disabled were lack of information related to education, absence of educational programs, inconvenience of transportation, problems of activity assistance and tuition.The results of this study are meaningful in that it grasped the actual condition and desire of the use of lifelong education for the disabled and presented basic data on the development of policies and programs for the lifelong education for the disabled.
