국문 초록

본 연구는 사서교사의 미디어 리터러시 수업에 관한 경험을 분석하여 학교 미디어 교육을 위한 정책적 시사점을 도출하는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 미디어 리터러시 수업 경험이 있는 중·고등학교 사서교사 7명을 대상으로 심층면담을 실시하고, 근거이론을 활용하여 미디어 리터러시 수업 경험의 과정을 분석하였다. 연구결과를 바탕으로 독서교육 및 미디어 리터러시 교육에 관한 국어교육적 관점 및 사서교사의 역할론 재정립에 관해 논의하였다. 또, 국어교사와 사서교사와의 협력수업을 통한 국어교육에서의 새로운 리터러시 교육 유형 개발, 사서교사와 교과교사의 융합 및 협력 수업 방안 개발, 사서교사의 미디어 교육 전문성 향상 지원, 협력적 학교 문화에 기반한 미디어 교육과정 개발, 학교 미디어 교육 환경 개선 등을 정책적 시사점으로 제안하였다. 본 연구의 성과는 첫째, 그간 미디어 리터러시 교육에서 주목받지 못했던 사서교사의 교육적 역할을 검토하고, 둘째, 교과교사와 사서교사의 협력적 관계에 기반한 학교 미디어 교육의 방향성을 탐색하였으며, 셋째, 2022 개정 교육과정에서 미디어 리터러시가 강조되는 국어교육에 일정한 시사점을 제공하였다는 점이다.

영문 초록

This study is to analyze librarian teachers' experiences of media literacy classes and to draw policy implications for school media literacy education. For this purpose, in-depth interviews were conducted with seven middle and high school librarians with experience in media literacy classes, and the process of media literacy class experiences was analyzed using grounded theory. Based on the research results, the Korean language education perspective and the reestablishment of the role theory of librarian teachers were discussed regarding reading education and media literacy education. In addition, development of new literacy education types in Korean language education through cooperative classes between Korean language teachers and librarians, development of convergence and cooperative teaching methods between librarians and subject teachers, support for the improvement of media education professionalism of librarians, and cooperative school culture The development of a media-based curriculum and improvement of the school media education environment were suggested as policy implications. The results of this study are as follows. First, the educational role of librarian teachers, which has not been noticed in media literacy education, is reviewed, second, the direction of school media education based on the cooperative relationship between subject teachers and librarians is explored, and third, media literacy in the 2022 revised curriculum is reviewed. The point is that it provided certain implications for Korean language education that emphasizes.
