국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 부모의 결혼만족도가 초등학생 자녀의 행복 및 문제행동에 미치는 종단적 영향에서 권위적, 권위주의적, 허용적 양육행동의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 한국아동패널의 자료를 활용하였으며, 매개효과를 명백히 하기 위하여 종단자료를 활용하였다. 부모의 결혼만족도는 10차년도, 권위적, 권위주의적, 허용적 양육행동은 11차년도, 자녀의 행복과 문제행동은 12차년도 자료를 활용하였다. SPSS를 사용하여 기초통계분석을 실시하였고, Hayes의 Process모델 4번을 활용하여 매개분석을 진행하였다. 자녀 행복 모형에서는 아버지의 허용적 양육행동이 아버지의 결혼만족도와 자녀 행복을 완전매개 하였고, 어머니의 허용적 양육행동이 어머니의 결혼만족도와 자녀 행복을 부분매개 하였다. 자녀 문제행동 모형에서는 아버지의 권위주의적 양육행동이 아버지의 결혼만족도와 자녀 문제행동을 완전매개 하였고, 어머니의 권위주의적 양육행동과 허용적 양육행동이 자녀 문제행동을 부분매개 하였다. 본 연구는 부모의 결혼만족도가 양육행동을 매개하여 자녀의 행복과 문제행동에 미치는 영향의 중요성과 가족치료 및 교육 분야에의 적용에 대하여 논의하였다.

영문 초록

Objectives: The purpose of this study was to examine the mediating effect of parenting practice in the longitudinal relation between marital relationship satisfaction and elementary school children’s happiness and problem behaviors. Methods: This study used data from the Panel Study on Korean Children, using wave 10 for parents’ marital relationship satisfaction, wave 11 for parenting practice, and wave 12 for child happiness and problem behaviors. The data were analyzed with descriptive statistics, correlations, and mediation analysis using Hayes’ process macro model 4. Results: For the child happiness model, parental permissive parenting mediated the relation between marital relationship satisfaction and child happiness. For the child problem behaviors model, paternal authoritarian parenting fully mediated the relation between marital relationship satisfaction and child problem behaviors. Maternal authoritarian and permissive parenting partially mediated the relation between marital relationship satisfaction and child problem behaviors. Conclusions: This study discusses the importance of parents’ marital relationship satisfaction and parenting practice on child happiness and problem behaviors. It also discusses ways to apply the results to the family therapy and education field.
