국문 초록

최근 교육과정 구성과 개발에 대한 다양한 담론들이 등장하고 있다. 동시에 그 과정에서 핵심적인 교육내용 요소에 대한 입장도 다양하게 전개되고 있다. 교육과정 구성과 개발에서 교육내용의 문제는 달성하고자 하는 목표와 관련하여 중요한 위치를 차지한다. 따라서 어느 특정 입장에서의 내용만을 고려하는 것은 부적절하다. 최근에 합리주의적 관점에서 편향적으로 강조되어온 교육과정 체제에 대하여 다양한 비판이 제기되고 있다. 내러티브 인식론에 의한 내러티브 교육과정은 그 하나의 대안이 될 수 있다. 내러티브 교육과정은 그간의 편향된 교육과정과 상호보완적으로 학교교육에 질적으로 기여할 수 있는 가능성을 지니고 있다. 본 연구는 교육의 과정을 이루는 여러 측면에서 내러티브 교육과정의 가능성을 탐구하고, 거기에 기초하여 교과목 개발과 교과서 서술의 방향을 제안하고 있다. 학교교육에서 내러티브 교육과정을 제공하려는 노력은 장차 중요해질 것이며, 인간 사고와 지식의 다양성에 기초하여 보다 풍부하고 다양한 교육과정을 경험할 수 있도록 해주어야 한다. 내러티브 교육과정에 대한 보다 심층적인 연구가 기대된다.

영문 초록

There are many discourses about curriculum construction and development. The purpose of this study is to search the possibility and the development of narrative curriculum excluded in paradigmatic curriculum system. Recently, various discourses about the composition and development of the curriculum are emerging. At the same time, various positions are being developed on key educational content elements in the process. In curriculum composition and development, the issue of educational content occupies an important position in relation to the goal to be achieved. Therefore, it is inappropriate to consider only the content from a specific position. Recently, various criticisms have been raised against the curriculum system, which has been biasedly emphasized from a rationalist point of view. A narrative curriculum based on narrative epistemology can be an alternative. The narrative curriculum is complementary to the biased curriculum and has the potential to contribute qualitatively to school education. This study explores the possibility of the narrative curriculum in various aspects of the educational process, and suggests the direction of curriculum development and textbook description based on it. Efforts to provide a narrative curriculum in school education will become more important in the future, and based on the diversity of human thinking and knowledge, a richer and more diverse curriculum should be experienced. A more in-depth study of the narrative curriculum is expected.
