뇌병변 고령장애인의 이동지원 기기 유형별 사용실태 및 만족도 조사

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 뇌병변 고령장애인의 이동지원 기기 유형별 사용실태 및 만족도 조사를 통해 보조기기 품질 개선 및 개발의 기초자료를 제공하고자 한다. 연구방법: 2022년 3월 18일부터 4월 13일까지 뇌병변 고령장애인 65명을 대상으로 이동지원 기기 유형별 사용실태, 만족도 설문조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료는 총 63부였으며 통계 프로그램 SPSS Ver. 25.0을 사용하여 기술통계의 빈도분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 이동지원 기기 유형별 사용실태는 수동휠체어가 58.7%로 사용 빈도가 가장 높았고, 지팡이 44.4%, 보행차 12.7%, 전동휠체어 11.1%, 다족 지팡이 7.9% 순으로 나타났다. 이동지원 기기 보조기구 만족도평가에서는 효율성이 평균 4.06점으로 가장 높았고 내구성 및 편안함이 가장 낮게 나타났다. 결론: 가정과 지역사회 내 이동 능력에 어려움이 있는 뇌병변 고령장애인들은 수동휠체어, 지팡이, 보행차, 전동휠체어, 다족 지팡이 등 이동지원 기기 활용을 통해 일상생활 및 사회적 참여가 촉진된다. 이동에 대한 도움은 이동지원 기기 만족도 요인 중 효율성 항목에 영향을 미쳐 만족도가 가장 높게 나타났다. 향후 지역사회 내 뇌병변 고령장애인의 이동지원 기기 사용 촉진을 위한 보조기구 만족도 검사의 요인 분석 연구가 필요할 것이다.

영문 초록

Objective : This study intends to provide basic data for quality improvement and development of mobility assistive devices through a survey on the actual conditions of use and satisfaction for each type of mobility assistive devices for the elderly with brain lesions disability. Methods : From March 18 to April 13, 2022, 65 elderly people with brain lesions were surveyed on the usage status and satisfaction of mobility device by type. The collected data is a total of 63 copies, and the statistical program SPSS Ver. 25.0 was used. Results : The frequency of use of mobility assistive devices by type was a human-driven wheelchair (58.7%), followed by a walking stick (44.4%), a walker (12.7%), an electrically powered wheelchair (11.1%), and a walking stick with three or more legs (7.9%). In terms of satisfaction with mobility assistive devices, Effectiveness was the highest with an average 4.06 and Durability and Comfort were lowest. Conclusion : Elderly with brain lesions disability who have difficulty in mobility at home and in the community are encouraged to participate in daily living and social activities by using mobility assistive devices such as human-driven wheelchairs, walking sticks, walkers, electrically powered wheelchairs, and walking sticks with three or more legs. Mobility assistance was found to have the highest satisfaction level as it affected the effectiveness item among the assistive device satisfaction factors. In the future, a factor analysis study of the satisfaction evaluation of assistive devices to promote the use of mobility assistive devices for the community resident elderly with brain lesions disability will be required.
