키오스크를 포함한 노인의 디지털 활용 능력이 도구적 일상생활활동에 미치는 영향: 노인 디지털 케어 산업 기초 연구 강동구 지역을 중심으로

국문 초록

연구목적: 강동구 지역의 노인을 대상으로 디지털 활용 설문 조사 및 도구적 일상생활활동 평가를 진행하여 키오스크를 포함한 디지털 활용 능력이 도구적 일상생활활동에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 하였다. 연구방법: 2022년 3월 26일부터 4월 16일까지 강동구 지역의 노인을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 배부된설문지는 총 100부였으며 누락 기재 등으로 미충족된 설문지 7부를 제외한 수집된 설문지는 총 93부였다. 수집된 자료는 통계 프로그램인 SPSS 25.0을 사용하여 빈도 분석 및 기술통계, 상관분석과 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과: 연구결과 첫째, 디지털 정보 활용 능력과 도구적 일상생활활동 간의 상관관계 분석 결과 생활 편의 -.517, 정보 검색 -.461, 디지털 정보 활용 능력 총점 -.425로 유의확률 <.01로 유의미한 결과가 나타났다. 둘째, 다중회귀분석 결과 F값 11.046으로 모형이 적합한 것으로 나타났으며 R²값 .334로 디지털 정보 활용 능력 총점과 정보 검색, 생활 편의, 오락 및 여가 항목 모형이 도구적 일상생활활동(K-IADL)의 33%를 설명할 수 있음으로 나타났다. 노인의 디지털 정보 활용 능력 중 생활 편의 및 오락 및 여가 활동의 점수가 높을수록 도구적 일상생활활동(K-IADL)의 점수가 낮아지며 도구적 일상생활활동의 의존성 점수가 유의미하게 낮아지는 것으로 나타났다. 결론: 노년기 디지털 활용 능력은 노인의 도구적 일상생활활동에 다양한 영향을 미치고 있다. 이에 따라 고령자의 일상생활활동 증진, 생활 편의 및 사회 참여 증진을 위한 디지털 케어 산업이 필요하다. 이를 위하여 작업치료사와 디자인, 경영 등 다양한 학문의 협업적인 연구와 더불어 정부 및 지자체 내에서의 디지털 케어 산업 증진을 위한 방안이 마련되어야 할 것이다.

영문 초록

Objective : The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of digital usage ability, including kiosk, on instrumental daily life activities by conducting a digital application survey and instrumental daily living activity evaluation for the elderly in Gangdong-gu. Methods : From March 26 to April 16, 2022, a survey was conducted targeting the elderly in Gangdong-gu. A total of 100 questionnaires were distributed, and a total of 93 questionnaires were collected, excluding 7 unfulfilled questionnaires due to omissions, etc. The collected data were subjected to frequency analysis, descriptive statistics, correlation analysis and multiple regression analysis using the statistical program SPSS 25.0. Results : As a result of the study, first, it was confirmed that the elderly's ability to utilize digital information had a significant correlation with the instrumental daily activities. Second, it was found that the multiple regression analysis model of digital information utilization ability is suitable to explain instrumental daily life activities. Third, among the digital information literacy ability of the elderly, the higher the score of living convenience and entertainment and leisure activities, the lower the score of the instrumental daily living activity (K-IADL) and the significantly lowered the dependence score of the instrumental daily living activity. Conclusion : The ability to use digital in old age has various effects on the instrumental daily life activities of the elderly. Accordingly, there is a need for a digital care industry to promote the daily living activities of the elderly, convenience in life, and social participation. To this end, it is necessary to prepare a plan to promote the digital care industry within the government and local governments as well as collaborative research in various fields such as design and management with occupational therapists.
