초등교사의 체육 수업 불안에 대한 내러티브

국문 초록

본 연구는 초등교사의 내러티브를 토대로 체육 수업 불안을 탐색하고 해법을 제안하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 초등교사 3명의 체육 수업 불안에 대한 경험 자료를 면담과 에세이를 통해 수집했다. 수집된 자료는 내러티브 탐구(Clandinin, & Connelly, 2000)를 통해 귀납적으로 분석되었다. 연구참여자들의 체육 수업 불안은 표면적으 로 수업에 대한 학생들의 반응, 교사 교육과 실제 수업의 괴리, 익숙하지 않은 물리적 환경, 과제의 선정·적용·변형 에서 비롯된 것이었다. 그러나 그것의 기저에는 교사가 겪는 ‘기대와 현실의 차이에서 오는 혼란’과 그러한 ‘혼란을 충분히 감당하기에는 부족한 체육 수업 경험’이 있었다. 본고에서는 이러한 문제를 사회인지이론(Bandura, 1998) 의 관점에서 해석하고, 교사의 체육 수업 불안 문제를 해결하는 방법으로 멘토-멘티 코티칭, 순환식 복수교과전임 제, 학교 안 실천공동체를 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the teaching anxiety of physical education class based on the narrative of elementary school teachers and to propose a solution. Accordingly, experience data on physical education class anxiety of three elementary school teachers were collected through interviews and essays. The collected data were analyzed inductively through narrative inquiry(Clandinin, & Connelly, 2000). The teaching anxiety of the participants was ostensibly caused by the following. : Students reactions to teachers and classes, gap between teacher education and actual classes, unfamiliar physical environment, selection-application-transformation of tasks. However, at the bottom of that were ʻconfusion resulting from the difference between expectations and realityʼ and ʻinsufficient physical education teaching experience to handle the confusionʼ. In this paper, these problems are interpreted from the perspective of social cognitive theory (Bandura, 1998). In addition, mentor-mentee co-teaching, Multi-curricular sharing system, and a community of practice in schools were suggested as a way to solve the physical education teaching anxiety problem.
