유아문학교육 수강에 따른 예비유아교사의 교수내용지식 변화에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아문학교육 수강에 따른 예비유아교사들의 교수내용지식 변화는 어떠한지 알아보는데 연구 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 예비유아교사 58명을 대상으로 수강 전과 후에 개념도를 작성하도록 하였다. 이와 더불어 유아문학교육을 수강 한 후 저널쓰기를 실시하여 개념도와 함께 분석하였다. 분석 결과, 첫째, 예비유아교사들의 유아문학교육 관련 지식이 체계화 되었으며, 둘째, 예비유아교사들은 유아교사로서의 주체적인 이해와 활용에 대한 생각이 드러났고, 셋째, 유아문학교육의 이론적 지식이 강화된 것으로 볼 수 있었다. 예비유아교사의 문학적·이론적 내용에 관한 지식 변화는 교수 전략과 행위로의 발전가능성을 시사한다. 따라서 본 연구의 결과를 바탕으로, 예비유아교사 교육과정에서 유아문학에 대한 이론적 지식과 실제적 경험을 더욱 다양하고 복합적으로 제공할 필요성과, 문학 교육적 지식과 역량을 발전시키기 위한 교사교육과 유아문학교육의 방향성에 대해 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study examined how pre-service early childhood teachers’ participation in literature education for young children changed their understanding of that education. For this purpose, the study selected 59 pre-service early childhood teachers as its participants. Participants were asked to draw concept maps twice, once before and once after the “Early Childhood Literature Education” class. Participants were asked to write journals after the above-mentioned course, and. This study obtained the following findings. First, the pre-service teachers surveyed here need a more organized knowledge of literature education for young children. Second, they need to develop their ability to appreciate and utilize that knowledge as early childhood teachers. Third, the participants need to deepen their theoretical knowledge of literature education for young children. As changes in theoretical knowledge of literature have the potential to develop their teaching strategies and practices, these findings suggest that educational programs for pre-service early childhood teachers should provide them with opportunities to develop both their theoretical knowledge and practical experience. Finally, this study discussed how teacher training contributes to teachers’ knowledge and ability to teach literature.
