장애대학생 도우미 지원에 대한 이용자 경험 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 장애대학생 도우미 지원사업에 참여한 장애학생 당사자가 무엇을 경험하고 있는지, 그 경험의 의미를 통해 장애대학생 도우미 지원사업의 개선방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 목적을 달성하기 위하여 도우미 지원사업을 이용한 경험이 있는 D대학의 장애대학생 16명(시각, 청각, 지체장애)을 대상으로 포커스 그룹 면담을 진행하였으며, 질적연구방법으로 분석하였다. 본 연구에서 도출한 결과는 3개의 범주와 14개의 하위범주, 32개의 의미단위로 유형화하였다. 3개의 범주는 ‘공급자 중심의 서비스’, ‘장애대학생과 도우미의 불편한 관계’, ‘장애대학생 도우미 지원사업의 개선방안’이다. 이러한 연구결과를 토대로 장애대학생 도우미 지원사업의 개선방안을 위한 제언을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to inquire into what the very disabled university student, who participated in the disabled university student’s assistant support program, is experiencing, and the improvement plan for a disabled university student’s assistant support program through the meaning of his/her experience. To this end, this study conducted a focus group interview targeting the 16 disabled (visual, auditory, physical impairment) university students at D University who had the experience in using an assistant support program, and analyzed the interview results using the qualitative research method. Also, this study stereotyped the results deducted by this study as 3 categories, 14 sub-categories and 32 meaning units. The three categories include ‘Supply-side Service’, ‘Uncomfortable Relationship between a disabled university student and an assistant’, and ‘Improvement Plan for a disabled university student’s assistant support program.’ On the basis of these study results, this study presented a suggestion for the improvement plan for a disabled university student’s assistant support program.
