이혼한 저소득 한부모가족 아버지의 생활세계 경험의 본질과 의미

국문 초록

본 연구는 이혼한 저소득 한부모가족 아버지가 일상 생활세계에 대하여 어떻게 총체적으로 경험하고 있으며, 그 경험의 본질과 의미가 무엇인가를 탐구하여 연구 참여자들이 겪고 있는 변화에 개입할 수 있는 실천전략을 제시하는데 목적이 있다. 이러한 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 현상학적 연구논리와 van Manen 의 해석학적 현상학 연구방법을 토대로 4명의 이혼한 남성을 심층 면담하여 자료를 분석하였다. 이혼한 저소득 한부모가족 아버지의 생활세계 경험의 의미 구조 가운데 관계성은 ‘가정을 지키지 못한 가시고기 아버지’, ‘만남과 파경의 파노라마 속 주인공’, ‘호구지책의 원조’ 등 세 가지 구성요소로 해석되었다. 또한 신체성은 ‘쇠잔한 이혼남의 몸’, 공간성은 ‘정주할 수 없는 집’, ‘나그네로 머무는 사회적 공간’으로 나타났다. 시간성은 ‘거역할 수 없는 생존의 시간’으로 도출되었다. 이러한 일곱 가지의 경험의 의미구조에서 이혼한 남성의 생활세계 경험의 본질적 주제는 ‘달리는 경주마위에서 분투하는 홀아비’로 정리되었다. 더불어서 제시되어진 경험의 구성요소에 의해 해석되는 경험의 양가성은 <버거운 존재이면서 삶에 활력을 주는 자녀>, <미움과 연정의 대상인 전처>, <감사하지만 벗어나고싶은 지원체계>, <쇠잔한 몸을 일으켜 미래를 위해 분투하는 몸>, <텅 빈 공간을 벗어나 고향 같은 포근한공간 희망>, <잃어버린 시간에서 일말의 의지로 성공을 좇는 시간>으로 구조화되었다. 본 연구결과를 바탕으로 이혼한 저소득 한부모가족 아버지의 생활세계에 관한 생산적인 복지 향상을 위한 실천전략으로 심리적 적응에 관한 회복프로그램 제공, 경제적 빈곤의 해결을 위한 정책적 노력, 이혼에관한 사회 구성원들의 잘못된 인식 개선을 통한 동질성 회복 등의 노력이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study first looks into how fathers from divorced low-income single parent families are basically going through with daily life world and then examines essence and significance of such experience. After all, the study aims to offer practical strategies that would influence these changes that research participants are currently trying to work out. In order to achieve the research gal, based on the phenomenological research logics as well as van Manen’s hermeneutic phenomenological research method, the study had in-depth interviews with four divorced male individuals and analyzed their samples. Of significance structures of life-world experience of fathers from divorced low-income single parent families, relationship was interpreted as these three components which were a ‘trispine stickleback father who has failed to keep his family together’, a ‘leading character in a panorama of gatherings and breakups’ and the ‘father of means of livelihood.’ In addition, the study learned that physicality is described as a ‘body of a broken-down divorced man’ and as for spatiality, it turned out to be a ‘house in which he can never settle down’ and a ‘social space in which he stays as a wanderer.’ Temporality was extracted as ‘time of survival that never gets disobeyed.’ As far as those seven experience significance structures understand, an essential topic of the divorced men’s life-world experience was categorized into a ‘single father who is severely fighting on a running racehorse.’ In terms of ambivalence of experience that had been separately offered which is what to be interpreted by the experience’s components, it was structuralized as a , an , a , a , a and . In the light of what had been discussed so far, the study came up with practical strategies to improve productive life-world welfare of fathers from divorced low-income single parents and now, study argues that the fathers should be provided with recovery programs that would help them with psychological adjustment, that the government should work on systems to resolve the fathers’ financial difficulties and that incorrect understanding of social members should be correctly guided which would eventually realize recovery of homogeneity and others.
