개념도 방법을 활용한 예비유아교사의 유아 행복에 대한 인식 탐색

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 개념도 방법을 활용하여 유아의 행복에 대한 예비유아교사의 인식을 파악하는 것이다. 이를 위해 예비유아교사 14명을 연구 참여자로 선정하였다. 연구 참여자는 초점 질문에 대한 자신의 생각을 자유롭게 진술하였으며, 정리된 진술문에 대한 범주화 및 중요도 평정을 실시하였다. 이를 토대로 다차원 척도분석과 위계적 군집분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 예비유아교사의 유아 행복에 대한 인식으로 46개의 최종 진술문이 생성되었으며, 다차원 척도분석을 통해 ‘유아개인-부모와의 관계’, ‘유아외부-유아내부’의 2개 차원으로 나누었다. 또한 진술문은 군집분석을 통해 7개의 군집, ‘가족을 통한 행복’, ‘놀이를 통한 행복’, ‘친구와 함께하는 행복’, ‘소유를 통한 행복’, ‘자유를 통한 행복’, ‘성취를 통한 행복’, ‘인정을 통한 행복’으로 분류하였다. 둘째, 군집별 중요도는 ‘가족과 함께하는 행복’이 가장 높은 중요도를 나타냈으며, 진술문은 ‘부모님과 함께 놀이할 때’, ‘가족과 여행할 때’ 등이 높은 중요도를 나타냈다. 본 연구결과는 유아의 행복 증진을 위한 효율적인 교육의 실제, 예비유아교사교육의 방향에 시사점을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to understand pre-service early childhood teachers perceptions about the happiness of young children by using concept mapping method. For this purpose, 14 pre-service early childhood teachers were selected as participants. The participants stated their thoughts on the focus question, and categorized and rated the importance of the prepared statements. Based on these, multidimensional scale analysis and hierarchical cluster analysis were performed. The results were as follows. First, 46 final statements were generated based on the pre-service early childhood teacher s perception of young children’s happiness, and through multidimensional scale analysis, these were divided into two dimensions: ‘young child individual-parent relationship’ and ‘young child outside- young child inside’. And the statements were divided into 7 clusters by cluster analysis: ‘happiness with family’, ‘happiness from play , happiness with friends’, ‘happiness from possession’, ‘happiness from freedom’, ‘happiness from achievement’, ‘happiness from recognition’. Second, as for the importance of each group, ‘happiness with family’ showed the highest importance, and for the statement, ‘when playing with parents’ and ‘when traveling with family’ showed high importance. The results of this study can provide implications for the direction of effective education for the promotion of young children s happiness and pre-service early childhood teacher education.
