국문 초록

본 연구는 IPTV기반의 증강현실(AR) 콘텐츠를 활용한 신체활동이 유아의 학습몰입, 기본운동능력과 신체적 자아개념에 미치는 영향을 살펴보고자 하였다. 만 4, 5세의 유아 30명을 대상으로 IPTV 기반 AR 신체활동을 총 10회 실시하였다. 학습몰입은 독립표본 t검정을 통한 집단 간 비교, 기본운동능력과 신체적 자아개념은 사전 및 사후검사 차이에 대한 t검정을 실시하였다. 주요 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 실험집단에서 학습몰입도가 높게 나타났고, 하위영역에서도 통제감을 제외한 모든 영역에서 실험집단이 통제집단보다 유의하게 높았다. 둘째, 기본운동능력의 경우 실험집단은 이동운동능력과 비이동운동능력 모두에서 사후점수가 유의하게 향상되었다. 셋째, 신체적 자아개념의 경우 실험집단에서만 사전-사후 차이가 유의한 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 그 동안 모바일 기기 및 정적인 교육 콘텐츠 위주였던 AR 연구에서 나아가, IPTV를 기반으로 신체활동 중심 AR 콘텐츠의 교육적 효과성을 검증하였다는 점에서 의의가 있다. 연구결과를 토대로 유아교육에서 IPTV, 증강현실 등 신기술 매체 활용 수업 개발에 대한 시사점 및 향후 연구방향을 제안하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of IPTV augmented reality (AR) physical activity on children s learning flow, basic motor ability, and physical self-concepts. A total of 10 IPTV-based AR Taekwondo training sessions were conducted for 30 children aged 4 and 5 years. Among the collected data, learning flow was compared between groups through independent sample t-test, and basic motor ability and physical self-concept were analyzed with t-test for the difference between pre- and post-tests. The main research results are as follows. First, learning flow was high in the experimental group using IPTV AR, and the experimental group was significantly higher than the control group in all sub-domains except for the sense of control. Second, in the case of basic motor abilities, the experimental group significantly improved the post-test scores in both motor and non-motor abilities. Third, in the case of the physical self-concept, the pre-post difference was found to be significant only in the experimental group. This study is significant in that it verified the educational effectiveness of IPTV-based AR contents about physical activities, going beyond the existing AR research that has focused on mobile devices and static educational contents. Based on the research results, we suggest some implications for the development of physical activity classes using emerging technologies such as IPTV and augmented reality in early childhood education and future research directions.
