원내 교사학습공동체 참여가 영유아 교사의 교수효능감에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 영유아 교사의 원내 교사학습공동체 참여에 관한 인식을 살펴보고 원내 교사학습공동체 참여가 영유아 교사의 교수효능감에 미치는 영향을 알아보는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 알아보기 위하여 어린이집에 근무하고 있는 영유아 교사 196명을 연구대상으로 2021년 3월 24일부터 4월 2일까지 자료를 수집 하였다. 수집된 자료는 기술통계분석, 중다회귀분석으로 처리하였고 본 연구에 대한 결과는 다음과 같다. 영유아 교사의 원내 교사학습공동체 참여에 대한 조사결과, 원내 학습공동체가 필요하다고 인식하고 있었다. 원내 교사학습공동체 참여는 영유아 교사의 전체 교수효능감에 25%의 설명력을 나타내는 유의미한 변인인 것으로 나타났다. 교수효능감의 하위요인별로 살펴보면 개인적 교수효능감에서는 16%의 설명력이 있으며 일반적 교수효능감에서는 15%의 설명력을 나타내어 유의미한 변인임을 밝혔다. 본 연구결과 영유아 교사의 원내 교사학습공동체 참여는 어린이집에서 어려움을 겪을 수 있는 교사들이 동료 교사들과 정보를 교환하고 협력해 나가는 과정을 경험하면서 교수효능감에도 정적인 영향을 주는 것을 확인하였다. 이는 영유아교육 현장에서 원내 교사학습공동체 참여가 활성화 되고 교사의 전문성 향상에도 긍정적 영향을 줄 수 있는 지원방안에 대한 시사점을 얻을 수 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the perception of early childhood teachers’ participation of the in-house teacher learning community and the effect of their participation on their teaching efficacy. For this purpose, the data were collected from March 24 to April 2, 2021 using a structured questionnaire for 196 teachers working at daycare centers. Data were analyzed through descriptive statistical analysis and multiple regression analysis. The results of this study are as follows. First, according to the result of the survey on the early childhood teachers’ participation in a teacher learning communities, they recognized the need for a teacher learning community within their day care centers. Second, early childhood teachers’ participation in the teacher learning community within their day care centers was found to be a significant variable that accounts for 25% explanatory power in their overall sense of their teaching efficacy. Looking into the sub-factors of teaching efficacy, it accounts for 16% of the variance in the individual teaching efficacy and 15% in the general teaching efficacy, indicating that it is a significant variable. This result shows that teachers who may have difficulties in the daycare center exchange their information and collaborate with colleague teachers through the teacher learning community within their day care centers, and thus this experience gives a positive effect on their teaching efficacy Therefore, it is expected that this study can foster the way to activate community engagement and positively influence teacher professionalism.
