국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 현재 적용되고 있는 2015 개정 초등과학의 기본교육과정과 공통교육과정을 과학의 본성 반영 특성을 비교함으로써 향후 개발될 기본교육과정에 의견을 제안하고자 연구하였다. 본 연구는 2015 개정 초등과학 교육과정에서 기본교육과정과 공통교육과정을 ‘과학의 본성’에 따라 하위범주화하여 연구를 수행하였다. 본 연구의 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 2015 개정 초등과학 기본교육과정은 과학의 본성과 교과의 핵심역량을 지적장애 학생의 요구를 반영하고 있다. 반면, 하위 교과목표 진술에서 공통교육과정은 과정 중심으로, 기본교육과정은 산물 중심으로 순차적으로 제시하고 있다. 둘째, 2015 개정 초등과학 기본교육과정의 내용조직 및 선정은 지적장애 학생의 교육적 요구에 맞게 내용 요소들을 재구성하는 방식이 필요하다. 셋째, 2015 개정 초등과학 기본교육과정의 교수․학습 모형 적용은 지적장애 학생의 인지발달 수준을 고려할 때, 교수 결과를 극대화하기 위한 교수․학습 모형 선택이 요구된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to suggest opinions on the basic curriculum to be developed in the future by comparing and analyzing the currently applied 2015 revised science and basic curriculum and the common curriculum according to the nature of science. In this study, the nature of science was sub-categorized into the basic curriculum and the common curriculum among the 2015 revised science curriculum, and research questions were extracted and analyzed. The conclusion of this study is as follows. First, the 2015 revision of the Science Department s basic curriculum reflects the needs of children with intellectual disabilities for the nature of science and the core competencies of the subject. On the other hand, in the statement of the sub-curricular goals, the common curriculum is process-oriented, while the basic curriculum is presented sequentially, focusing on products. Second, the content organization and selection of the 2015 revised science and basic curriculum requires a method of reorganizing content elements to meet the educational needs of children with intellectual disabilities. Third, the application of the teaching and learning model of the 2015 revised science and basic curriculum requires the selection of a teaching and learning model to maximize the teaching results when considering the cognitive development level of children with intellectual disabilities.
