리코더 원격학습용 앱에 대한 초등 예비교사들의 평가 및 그에 따른 개선방안

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 교육부가 17개 교육청과 함께 개발한 리코더 원격학습용 앱에 대한 초등 예비교사들의 평가를 파악하고, 이를 바탕으로 개선방안을 탐색하는 것이다. 2020년 코로나 19로 인해 일반 학교의 음악수업 특히 기악수업이 어려움을 겪고 있는 상황 속에서, 정부 기관은 학교 교육과정에 기반한 기악수업 관련 콘텐츠 개발의 필요성과 시급성을 느끼고, 리코더 원격학습용 앱 ‘리코더온교실’을 개발하여 2021년 1학기 초 전국의 초·중등학교에 보급하였다. 본 연구에서는 이와 같은 리코더 원격학습용 앱에 대한 초등 예비교사들의 평가를 파악하기 위해, 초등 예비교사 양성기관인 교육대학교에 개설된 강의에서 이 앱을 적용하여 수업을 진행하였으며, 수업 후 앱의 내용과 성능 및 교육적 효용성 등에 대한 설문 조사를 실시하였다. 설문 도구는 초등 예비교사들이 자신의 학습 경험을 바탕으로 교육적 관점에서 응답할 수 있도록 정량적·정성적 방식의 26문항으로 구성하였으며, 정량적 질문을 통해 수집한 자료는 기술통계값을 구하여 빈도를 분석하였고, 정성적 질문을 통해 수집한 자료는 항목별로 언급된 내용에 따라 요소를 추출하고 유목화하여 분석하였다. 본 연구의 결과, 리코더 원격학습용 앱에 대한 초등 예비교사들의 평가는 전반적으로 긍정적이었으며, 리코더 학습 과정의 단계적 구성, 자기 주도적 학습, 피드백 제공 등이 유용하다고 인식하고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 한편 학습 지원 영상, 반주 제공 방식, 피드백 전략, 앱을 활용한 수업 방안, 앱의 성능 등과 관련하여 개선방안이 제시되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore improvement plan based on evaluation of elementary pre-service teachers on the recorder app for distance learning developed by the Ministry of Education with 17 metropolitan and provincial offices of education. In a situation where music classes in public schools, especially for musical instruments, are experiencing difficulties due to COVID-19 since 2020, government agencies felt the need and urgency to develop educational contents for distance learning related to musical instrument classes based on the school curriculum, developed and distributed the soprano recorder app to elementary and secondary schools nationwide from the first semester of 2021. In this study, in order to examine the evaluation and perception of elementary pre-service teachers for this recorder app for distance learning, the app was applied in lectures opened at the University of Education, an institution for training elementary pre-service teachers. After that, a survey was conducted on contents, function and educational effectiveness of the app. The survey tool consisted of 26 items of quantitative and qualitative questions so that elementary pre-service teachers could evaluate the app from an educational perspective based on their learning experiences. The data collected through quantitative questions were analyzed by descriptive statistics, the data collected through qualitative questions were analyzed by extracting elements according to the mentioned contents and categorizing them. As a result of the study, the evaluation of the recorder app for distance learning was positive overall, and it could be confirmed that the step-by-step process of the learning the soprano recorder, self-directed learning, and providing real-time feedback were perceived as useful from an educational point of view. Meanwhile, improvement plans were suggested in relation to videos for learning, a way of providing accompaniment, feedback strategies, instructional plan using apps, and app functions.
