정서이야기와 수혜자 경험이 유아의 자원분배행동에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 유아기 자원분배행동에서 정서이야기와 수혜자로서의 직접 경험이 친사회적 행동에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 연구방법: 만 3-5세 유아 154명을 대상으로 연구를 수행하였으며, 조건에 따라 유아가 수혜자에게 나누어준 사탕의 개수를 통해 자료를 수집하였다. 먼저 모든 유아를 대상으로 정서이야기(n = 76)와 상황이야기(n = 78) 집단에 무선 할당하여 개입별로 유아가 타인에게 나누어주는 사탕 개수의 사전, 사후를 비교하였다. 다음으로 이야기개입 이후에도 공평한 자원분배(5개)가 어려운 유아를 대상으로 수혜자경험(n = 61)을 했을 때 자원분배행동에서 변화를 보이는지 확인하였다. 연구결과: 유아들은 연령이 증가함에 따라 자원분배행동이 증가했고 공평한 자원분배(5개)와 근접한 경향을 보였다. 1단계 개입에서는 정서이야기를 한 집단에서 상황이야기를 한 집단보다 자원분배행동의 증가가 유의미하게 높았다. 2단계 개입에서는 직접 수혜자 경험을 했을 때 사전보다 사후에 사탕 분배 개수가 유의미하게 증가하였다. 즉, 유아가 자신과 타인에 대한 정서를 인식하고 직접적인 경험을 할수록 친사회적인 행동특성이 높게 나타났다. 결론: 본 연구는 유아의 친사회적 행동과 관련된 변인을 탐색하고자 한 것이다. 유아의 특성을 고려한 정서이야기와 수혜자에 대한 직접경험이 유아의 자원분배행동에 영향을 주는 것으로 나타나 정서 인식과 관련된 경험이 친사회적 행동의 발달적 관련 변인으로 제안되었다.

영문 초록

Objective: The purpose of this study was to examine the impact of emotional stories and direct beneficiary experience on prosocial behavior through evaluating early childhood resource distribution behaviors. Methods: The study was conducted on 154 infants aged 3 to 5 years, and data were collected included the number of candies distributed by infants to the beneficiaries under different conditions. First, we compared the dictionary and post-mortem of the number of candies distributed by infants to others following intervention between all infants who were randomly assigned to the emotional story (n=76) and contextual story (n=78) groups. Following the story intervention, there was a significant change in resource distribution behavior when the beneficiary experience (n=61) was given to infants with difficulty in equitable resource distribution (five resources). Results: With in crease in age, infants’ resource distribution behavior increased, and resource distribution tended to become more equitable (five resources). In the first stage of intervention, the increase in resource distribution behavior was significantly higher in the emotional stories group than that in the other group. In the second stage of intervention, the number of candy division after death increased significantly when the child observed direct beneficiary experience. In other words, the more the infant recognized their own and others’ emotions and directly experienced theses, the more characteristics of pro-social behavior they displayed Conclusions: This study intended to explore the prosocial behavior of infants. Emotional stories considering the characteristics of infants and direct experience with beneficiaries have been shown to affect the infants’ resource distribution behavior, suggesting that emotional recognition-related experiences are developmentally related variables.
