교육실습 지도교사들의 인식 분석을 통한 교육실습의 개선 방안 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구는 교육실습 지도 교사들의 경험과 인식을 탐색하고, 그 시사점을 찾고자 하였다. 이를 위해 연구자들은 교육실습지도 경험이 있는 교사들 19명을 대상으로 질문지 및 면담 방법을 활용하였다. 면담을 통해 수집한 자료는 의미 있는 진술을 바탕으로 4개의 대범주, 21개의 소범주로 분류되었다. 4개의 대범주는 ‘실습 현황’에 대한 인식, ‘실습지도’에 대한 인식, ‘실습 내용’에 대한 인식, ‘실습 모형’에 대한 인식이었다. 분석 결과, 실습 현황에 대해서는 대체로 부정적이었으나, 실습 지도에 대해서는 긍정적인 측면과 부정적인 측면을 동시에 인식하는 이중적인 상황이 있음이 밝혀졌다. 그리고 실습 내용에 대해서는 ‘중요한 것’과 ‘필요한 것’이라는 긍정적인 인식 내용들이 도출되었다. 또한 교육실습 모형에 대해서는 ‘필요하다’는 인식과 ‘필요하지 않다’는 두 가지 상반된 인식 경향을 보였으나, 필요하다는 의견이 더 많이 제기되었다. 분석 결과, 연구자들은 실습지도 교사들의 실습지도 과정에서 겪는 어렵고 힘들고, 부담스러우며 업무가 가중되는 등의 부정적인 요소들을 해소하고, 다양한 학교 현장의 특성을 반영할 수 있는 교육실습 체제의 체계화가 필요하다는 결과를 도출하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서 실습 지도교사들이 제기한 교육실습 로드맵으로서의 기본적이면서도 활용 가능한 모형을 개발하는 일은 현직 교사들의 실제적인 교육실습지도를 돕고 그 질을 보장할 수 있을 뿐만 아니라, 교육실습 지도교사들의 실습 지도에의 적극적인 참여를 유도할 수 있는 방안이 될 것이다.

영문 초록

This study focused on the experience and awareness of the teaching practicum guidance teachers and to find its implications. To this end, researchers used questionnaires and interviewing methods for teachers with experience in teaching practicum. Data collected through interviews were classified into four large categories and 21 small categories based on meaningful statements. The four major categories were awareness of the current codition of practicum, awareness of the actual practicum guidence, awareness of the content of the practicum, and awareness of the teaching practicum model. The analysis found that while awareness of the current codition of practicum was generally negative, there were dual situations in which positive and negative aspects were recognized simultaneously for the awareness of the actual practicum guidence. In addition, positive perceptions of ‘important’ and ‘necessary’ were derived regarding the content of the practicum. There were also two conflicting awareness about the model of teaching practicum: ‘necessary’ and ‘unnecessary’; however, more opinions were raised that it was necessary. In particular, the teaching practicum models teachers recognize as necessary based on their experience are “simple models”, “universal models”, “standard models”, “orkbook models”, “flexible models”, “student life maps” and “qualitative assessment models.” From these analyses, the researchers found that they needed an teaching practicum model that could address the difficult, hard, burdensome, and aggravated elements of the field and reflect the characteristics of various school sites.
