국문 초록

본 연구는 코로나19 속에서, 초등학교 신규교사들의 학교생활 경험 탐구를 통해 그들의 안정적인 교직 적응 방향을 모색하고자 한다. 이를 위해, 개별 인간의 경험 이해에 알맞은 내러티브 탐구방법을 적용하였다. 본 연구의 연구 문제는 첫째, 코로나19 상황 속에서 초등학교 신규교사들은 어떤 경험을 하였는가? 둘째, 신규교사들의 경험의 의미는 무엇인가?이다. 연구 결과, 신규교사의 교직생활 경험의 의미는 다음과 같다. 첫째, ‘코로나19 속에서 흔들리는 교사의 정체성 찾기’, 둘째, ‘개인적, 실제적 지식(PPK)의 중요성 깨닫기’, 셋째, ‘포스트 코로나19를 바라보며 변화와 성장에 대해 기대하기’이다. 이와 같이, 신규교사들은 교사로서의 정체성 확립과 비대면 수업의 질 향상을 위해 교육현장에 실제 적용 가능한 지식을 탐구했다. 이는 그들의 변화 및 성장의 원동력이 되었다. 이에 근거하여, 포스트 코로나19 시대의 신규교사들이 안정적으로 교직에 적응할 수 있는 멘토링 제도 보완 및 다양한 지원체계 마련, 현장 적용 가능한 개별적, 실제적 지식을 쌓을 수 있는 제도 개선, 그리고 교사들의 교육 커뮤니티 활성화를 위한 제도적 뒷받침을 제안한다.

영문 초록

This study aims to understand the meaning of the experiences of new teachers who began teaching at elementary school in the social situation of Covid -19. For this, narrative inquiry is applied as the appropriate method to understand the experiences of the individual person. This study begins with two questions: one is ‘What kind of experiences have new elementary school teachers had during Covid-19?’; the other is ‘What is the meaning of the experiences of the new teachers?’ In the result of this study, the meanings of the experiences of the new teachers are as follows: Firstly, to find the teacher-identity which is faltering during Covid-19; Secondly, to understand the importance of personal practical knowledge(PPK); Thirdly, to expect the change and growth in the Post Covid-19 era. In this study, it is proved that the new teachers have inquiried the actual applicable knowledge to the site of the education in order to establish their identity and to improve the quality of the class. Furthermore these inquiries have foundationally motivated their changes and growth. Therfore this paper proposes three systems for new teachers in the post Covid-19 era: (1) Various supporting systems and mentoring systems to be situatively applied to the teaching; (2) Change of the systems to acquire the personal practical knowledge to apply to the class; (3) Systematic support for the activation of the multi-dimensional education communication for the teachers.
