재활용을 활용한 입체조형 교육 사례 - 초등 예비교사 2학년 대상 수업사례를 중심으로 -

국문 초록

본 연구는 교육대학교 2학년을 대상으로 재활용의 예술적, 교육적 가치를 확인 및 재활용의 물성을 탐색하고 입체조형 과정을 분석한 사례이다. 교육은 사회적 문제를 고려하여 일상에서 흔하게 버려진 재활용품을 활용하여 입체조형요소를 학습하고 나아가 자연과 환경이라는 공생의 가치를 추구하였다. 예술의 실용적 가치는 조형을 통해 극대화될 수 있다. 일상성은 실용성과 미적 가치와 맞닿아 있으며 지속적으로 연관되어 있다. 이러한 지점을 인지하고 재활용의 예술적, 교육적 의의를 살펴보았다. 연구과정은 프로그램의 설계부터 교육과정, 결과물 분석 등으로 진행하였다. 그 결과 재활용을 활용한 수업프로그램에서 다음과 같은 교육적 의의를 발견할 수 있다. 학생들은 첫째, 재활용품을 활용하여 자신의 아이디어를 시각화하였다. 이러한 미적 체험을 교육현장에서 적극 활용할 수 있다. 둘째, 환경오염의 심각성을 인지하고 환경, 사회적 공익의 가치를 추구하게 하였다. 셋째, 재활용품의 물성을 이해하여 새롭고 다양한 조형의 표현방법과 자기 주도적 학습방법을 체득하였다. 넷째, 주변에서 쉽게 구할 수 있는 재활용품을 이용함으로 새로움을 만들어야 하는 미술의 장벽을 낮추고 미술과 일상성을 접목하였다. 다섯째, 교육과정을 통해 미술에 대한 만족감과 자신감을 얻어 능동적이고 창의적 사고를 확장시켰다. 향후 예비교사들이 교육현장에서 재활용을 활용한 미적 창의성 및 사회, 환경문제에 대한 인식을 변화시킬 수 있는 교과목 개설을 기대한다.

영문 초록

This research is an example of how sophomore students at the University of Education identified the artistic and educational value of recycling, explored the physical properties of recycling, and analyzed the three-dimensional modeling process. Education took social issues into consideration, learned three-dimensional modeling elements by using recycled goods that are often thrown away in daily life, and pursued the symbiotic value of nature and the environment. The practical value of art can be maximized by shaping. Everydayness is linked to practicality and aesthetic value and is continuously related. Recognizing these points, we considered the artistic and educational significance of recycling. The research process consisted of program design, curriculum, and analysis of results. As a result, the following educational significance can be found in class programs utilizing recycling. First of all, students visualized their ideas by using recycled goods. This kind of aesthetic experience can be actively utilized in education. Second, the government recognized the seriousness of environmental pollution and pursued the values of the environmental and social interests. Thirdly, he understood the physical properties of recycled goods, learned new and diverse methods of expression and self-directed learning. Fourth, by using recycled goods that can be easily obtained around the area, the walls of art that need to be newly built are lowered and art and everyday life are fused. Fifth, he gained satisfaction and confidence in art through the curriculum and expanded his active and creative thinking. It is hoped that preparatory teachers will establish a course to change the aesthetic creativity and awareness of social and environmental issues by utilizing recycling in education.
