자대배치 단계에서의 군부적응 병사의 유형 및 관리 상황에 관한 내러티브 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 자대 단계에서 군 복무에 부적응하고 있는 병사를 대상으로 군부적응 유형을 밝혀내고 이러한 군 부적응 유형을 어떻게 식별하여 관리하고 있는지 그 실태를 살펴본 연구이다. 2012년 6월~7월 육군 (병사 31명)에서, 해병대(병사 5명, 간부 5명)와 해군(병사 5명, 간부 3명), 공군(병사 3명) 및 병영생활전문상담관, 군의관, 인사담당자를 대상으로 총 52명 표적집단면접을 실시하였다. 내러티브 분석방법에 입각하여 군복무 부적응을 만드는 개인적 요인과 더불어 환경적 요인들을 분석하고, 상호작용에 대한 양상을 밝혀내었다. 이러한 연구결과에 기초하여 과학적인 군복무 부적응자 관리시스템 구축의 필요, 지휘관의 부적응자 관리와 상담 역량 강화, 병영생활전문상담관 확대 배치 및 전문성 강화, 군, 관, 민의 효과적인 네트워크 연계, 각 단계별 각각의 상황 원인 및 대안에 관한 보다 심층적인 연구 등이 제안되었다.

영문 초록

This research is to classify the types of military maladjustment upon soldiers who have been stationed to each unit and to find out how those types of maladjustment are identified and managed. Focus group interviews were held from June to July 2012 to different groups of soldiers, 31 soldiers from the army, 5 soldiers and 5 executives from the Marine Corps, 5 soldiers and 3 executives from the navy, 3 soldiers from the air force, special military counselors, surgeons and human resources officers. The research was done with narrative analysis method to analyze both individual and environmental factors which make soldiers maladapted to cope in the military service, and discovered the different aspects of interactions and elements of human rights abuses. Based on the result, the following researches are to be suggested: the need of constructing scientific management system for maladapted soldiers, thorough security on personal information, manuals for selecting‘ soldiers with care’and maladapted soldiers, development and dissemination of human rights education program, reinforcement of the commander’s counseling and management ability for maladapted soldiers, expansion of arrangement for special military counselors, improvement on physical environment, making close connections within military-government-private network, enactment of military human rights law and making new clauses on distinguish management in military general planning, thorough research on the cause and alternatives on each stage of maladaptation.
