국문 초록

본 연구는 시각적 사고 전략을 적용한 설치미술 감상 프로그램을 개발하고 고등학생을 대상으로 프로그램을 감상 영역 수업에 적용하여, 학습자가 설치미술의 가치를 이해하고 시각적 사고 전략을 통해 자기주도적인 설치미술의 감상 및 비평 능력을 함양하는 데 연구 목적을 두었다. 격변하는 시각 문화 속에서 이미지와 정보, 시각매체에 대해 이해하고 비판적 사고력으로 해석할 수 있는 시각적 사고 전략은 토의 수업을 통해 학습자의 언어적 사고의 발달을 촉진한다. 이러한 시각적 사고 전략을 적용한 프로그램의 교육적 효과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 설치미술의 이해력이 향상되었다. 둘째, 대화학습을 통한 시각적 의사 소통 능력이 함양되었다. 셋째, 문화 존중 능력 및 다원주의적 태도가 증진되었다. 본 연구의 활성화 방안으로는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 스마트 미디어 기반의 미술 감상 프로그램이 개발되어야 한다. 둘째, 미술관·박물관과 연계한 대화형 감상 프로그 램이 활성화되어야 한다. 이러한 시각적 사고 전략은 21세기를 살아가는 학생들에게 필요한 비판적 사고와 의사소통 능력을 함양할 수 있는 기회를 제공한다.

영문 초록

This study develops an installation art appreciation program that applies a visual thinking strategy and applies the program to the appreciation domain class for high school students, so that learners understand the value of installation art. The purpose of research was to cultivate criticism. A visual thinking strategy that fosters the ability to understand and critically interpret images, information, and visual media in a changing visual culture promotes the development of learners linguistic thinking through discussion classes focused on conversational methods. The educational effect of the program applying this visual thinking strategy is as follows. First, the understanding of installation art was improved. Second, visual communication skills were cultivated through conversational learning. Third, the ability to respect culture and a pluralistic attitude were improved. The ways to activate this study are as follows. First, an art appreciation program based on smart media should be developed. Second, interactive appreciation programs in connection with art galleries and museums should be activated. This visual thinking strategy provides an opportunity to cultivate critical thinking and communication skills necessary for students living in the 21st century.
