유아 농업소양교육 프로그램의 효과성에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 유아 농업소양교육 프로그램이 유아의 농업소양증진에 미치는 효과를 알아보는 것이다. 프로그램에 참여한 유아들과 참여하지 않은 유아들 사이에 농업소양이 증진되었는지 효과성을 검증하기 위해 이질통제집단 전후검사설계(nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design)를 적용하였다. 사전검사와 사후검사 사이에는 일주일에 2번 14주간 28회기의 활동으로 구성되어 있는 유아농업소양교육 프로그램을 실시하였다. 유아농업소양교육 프로그램은 2017년 4월 1주부터 2017년 8월 1주까지 적용되었으며, 이 기간은 본격적인 프로그램 28회기와 함께 프로그램 사후검사의 실시 기간까지 포함한 것이다. 실험결과 실험집단은 프로그램 적용에 따라 농업과 환경, 농업과 사회, 농업과 경제에 대한 사전 측정치가 증가하는 경향을 보였고, 통제집단은 거의 변화를 보이지 않았다. 유아의 농업에 대한 관심 및 소양 증진은 프로그램 실시 후 교사의 저널을 통해서도 재확인할 수 있었는데 그 내용은‘농업과 생태계에 대한 이해’, ‘농업을 통한 전통문화 경험’, ‘삶과 농업의 연결’의 3가지 범주로 나눌 수 있었다. 이를 통해 본 연구에서 개발된 프로그램은 농업을 통한 생태계 이해, 전통문화 경험과 함께 유아의 삶과 농업이 연결되어 유아의 농업소양 증진에 효과가 있음이 입증되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to understand the Early Childhood agricultural literacy education program on the enhancement of agricultural literacy for children. The study applied the nonequivalent control group post - examination design to validate the improvement in agricultural literacy between the children who participated in the program and those who did not participate. Between the pre and post tests, Early Childhood Agricultural literacy Education program was conducted twice a week consisting of 28 sessions of activities for 14 weeks. Early Childhood Agricultural literacy Education program was applied from the 1st week of April 2017 to the 1st week of August 2017, which includes the period of post-test of the program along with 28 full programs. As a result of the experiment, the experimental group tended to have increased pre-measures of agriculture and the environment, agriculture and society, agriculture and the economy According to program applications, the control group showed little change. Interest in agriculture for young child and growing literacy in the agriculture could also be reaffirmed in the teacher s journal after the program. The contents divide three main types. Those are ‘Understand agriculture and the ecosystem.’, ‘Experience traditional culture through agriculture’, ‘Link life to agriculture’. The program developed from this study has been shown to be effective in promoting Agricultural literacy of young child through links to infant life, along with understanding the ecosystem and experiencing traditional cultures through agriculture.
