건축 조형요소 지도에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 논문의 목적은 현장교사의 건축에 대한 이해와 아울러 지도를 용이하게 하기 위한 하나의 출발점으로써 건축조형요소 즉 건축의 근본형식과 시각적 구성요소의 개념과 지도방안을 제시하는 것이다. 건축은 현실성을 바탕으로 한 공간예술로, 인간의 삶을 영위하는 데 필수적일 뿐만 아니라 여러 조형예술의 제 특징을 포괄하는 종합예술로서 인간에게 미치는 영향이 지대하다. 그런 측면에서 건축은 미술교육에서 보다 적극적으로 다루어져야 할 영역이며 그 지도의 출발점은 건축 조형언어의 이해지도가 되어야 한다. 제 예술분야와 마찬가지로 예술로서의 건축 또한, 건축가가 의도한 조형요소·원리와 같은 건축언어의 합목적적 운영을 통해 창조되며, 건축작품의 감상과 비평 또한 이에 대한 이해가 바탕이 되어야 가능하기 때문이다. 본 연구에서는, 넓은 의미에서의 포괄적 건축환경(architectural environment) 대신, 좁은 의미에서의 예술로서의 건축물(a building as an artistic object)에 초점을 맞추어 연구하였다. 건축 조형요소의 지도방안을 제시하기 위해, 먼저 건축의 조형요소인 형태, 공간, 크기, 빛, 질감, 재료, 색 등의 개념을 기능성과 조형성 등과의 관련 하에 서술하였다. 다음으로, 초등학교 수준에서 지도 가능한 내용을 추출, 지도 내용으로 선정하여 지도 시 유의점, 방향성에 대해 제시하였으며 이어 지도의 과정을 안내하고 지도 방안의 예를 제시하였다. 이러한 건축 조형요소의 이해를 바탕으로 한 체계적인 건축교육은 학습자의 건축적 안목을 높여줄 것이며 장차 실제적 건축 디자인의 발전과 생활의 질 향상에도 기여할 것으로 사료된다.

영문 초록

This essay aims is at searching for an alternative method to teach elements of design of architectural arts in art education. Teaching and learning of architectural art as well other visual arts, I believe, should be based on and started from the understanding of visual languages, for all of art works including architecture is invented, designed, created, expressed and criticized by and through them. The manifolded aesthetic values of architecture are not produced by accident, but intentional purposes of an architect. In the core of creating architectural composition, therefore, there is a scientific and intentional process of architectural visual forms. One could have unique aesthetic experiences in architecture, which could be more activated when learners positively participate in and understand visual languages in and through educational methods. Unfortunately, they have been not fully considered as valuable educational contents in korean art education. The absence of teaching of architectural arts bring on a lack and misunderstanding of aesthetic taste in architecture, consequently put obstacles in the way of participating in architectural environment for young children and common people. though in art text for elementary learners ‘architecture and environment’ is newly organized, some educational contents of architecture showed, awareness of educational values of it expended more than in past, we should give more places to it. we need to develope a more systematic and detailed curriculum for elementary learners architectural education. In this essay, I ll suggest instructional contents and methods to teach for educators and to have students easily understand them. To accomplish such aims, this essay is composed by followings, in chapter 2, will be described about architectural conceptions of ‘form, space, size, light, texture and materials, and colours’ in connection with functionality and formativity. in chapter 3, based on studies of the former chapter, selected and explained educational contents to teach in level of elementary school. finally, showed some notices and directions of educational practice in classroom, and added the course of instruction.
